No thanks to ALL SGLT2 INHIBITORS. October 5, 2016

One of the main causes of Diabetic complications is excessive renal dumping from high blood sugars causing increasing the SED rate and platelet stacking. This leads to repeated microvascular impasse . You won't find this discussion anywhere but this is a major cause of peripheral and autonomic neuropathy  in addition to ADMA compromise of the beneficial NO Cascade vasodialation which normally contributes to sufficient end tidal perfusion.
Now the SGLT2 inhibitors increase Renal dumping and diabetic dehydration and thus increase diabetic microvascular complications! The use of HbA1c as a marker for good control can no longer apply to describe sufficient insulin levels and good control preventing complications.
No thanks to ALL SGLT2 INHIBITORS.

EASD Brings Latest Diabetes Research to Clinical Practice

We had a standing ovation last year because it was the first time in the history of diabetes that we had a drug—by definition, a glucose-lowering drug—that also reduces cardiovascular death. Absolutely amazing.
This is the meeting of Medical Care providers, and no one of them seems to understand, diabetes is not about high level of sugar in blood, but low level of insulin secretion. It is far away from being the same. Medicine such as blood sugar lowering Invokana can low level of sugar in blood. Lifestyle changing as it is presented by Dr. Oz or Pr. R.Taylor can reduce level of sugar in blood due to starvation. Nether one of this 'treatment plans' bring life to diabetic. We die due to lower level of insulin in our blood. Our hearts stop to beat because of there is no energy to support body function. Brain die last. This is why before we die we have coma. Our brain still function, but there is no life support to be alive. We even not capable to breath by our own, need ventilation machine.
They all time have ovations that they discovered cure for diabetes type 2. Still, if there is 'cure' then why
in 2011 about 282,000 emergency room visits had high blood sugar level,  175,000 patients were in hyperglycemic crisis.
in 2010 among adults 20 years or older high blood sugar level caused 2,361 deaths. Only one year, 2010. (National Diabetes Statistic Report, 2014).
As it is presented many times diabetes type 2 is progressive medical condition, so
In 2012, an estimated 1.5 million deaths were directly caused by diabetes and another 2.2 million deaths were attributable to high blood glucose. (WHO report)
According to the Medical Care providers and EASD all those deaths were preventable if we just took care for ourselves and pee out sugar from blood and our body.
I've talked a lot about drugs, but I said that diabetes care is not all about drugs. We had a lot on the program that had nothing to do with drugs. We should not underestimate the importance of lifestyle. We covered lifestyle changes quite a lot during this meeting.
Diabetes type 2 presented not only as 'Epidemic' but as 'Pandemic' and it is great deal with money. It is all the time very important to follow money to see the picture and where is the true cause is hidden. Direct medical costs in 2012 $176 billions. $176 billions only to medical care. Is there any hope for us to be ever treated with right medicine rather then with bulling and killing Trash medicine which destroy all our still working organs? Personally, I am not so naive.
On every publication there is cost of diabetes presented proudly by media and medical care. What never presented is diabetics type 2 what do we have for the money medical care collect from insurance companies and public sources to pay our treatment and highly presented as cost of care for us, diabetics type 2?  Really, what medical Care provide to claim those billions in cost they collected?
I cannot go through the entire program here, but I can tell you that we take great pride in giving the hottest and newest information. We have a rule that we do not repeat a program from one year to another; we always focus on new aspects of the treatment of diabetes. The criteria that we use are innovation, novelty, and clinical relevance. That is actually what diabetes research is.
It is Golden Mine. Just dig it, and medical care never will run out of power and will secure high flood of money flow. All what they need just present a new style of life, new diet plans, and a new types of smoothies. There are endless possibilities, and never ended opportunity to be on top of discussions how to pee out sugar from blood.
Standing Ovations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have to find new ways to understand diabetes and try to find out how to prevent diabetes and how to prevent complications. That is only going to happen if we understand the disease and devote a lot of effort to research. And, of course, as soon as we have the newest data, they should be disseminated to the doctors who do the real work of taking care of patients.
There are no one doubt to understand, they do understand it perfectly where money come from. This is why they try to find the way 'to prevent' diabetes rather then treat it. Diabetes today is treatable and curable. The same way as it is any flu or infection. Of cause we try to prevent infections, use wash our hands and do not eat unwashed fruits. But when it happened and infection took place in our bodies we take medicine, and we recovery. Left untreated infection will kill very soon. Treated, infection go away for the next time. We all do have many episodes of infections in our lives.
The same with diabetes. Treated with insulin diabetic will recovery, live without injections for years, and then when something changed in life, high sugar in blood will demand another set of therapy with insulin injections.
This simple way is not good for medical care provider. No ill patient no longer paying patient. So, what is the reason to treat diabetes type 2? To cut own tree with golden leafs?  Do not even think that medical care providers do not know what bring them high quality of life.
