I went to by my local Farmers Market early this morning,

It totally does - and now you can't unsee it.

And then I bought it for a whopping 50 cents.
You read right - it cost 50 freaking cents!
It really is ginormous and it weighs 3 pounds.
I have no idea how long to bake that thing!
Also, I bought these strawberries because DAMN!

Day-by-Day. May 24, 2017

Sugar today is over 200 mg/dl, all day long when IO do check it, why? Really, why is this so? It was 287 units of Lantus Solo Star Yesterday. All day long sugar was under 200. Both days fasting sugar around 80 mg/dl. So, why today sugar is up? Did I started to eat more today then I ate Yesterday? Not at all. It is not that I pretend it is my healthy life style. I simple do not sue any diet, so IO eat every time the same meal, all what I want to eat. So today there is no difference. Why sugar up and over 200 mg/dl?
Well, sugar is very unpredictable. Probably, it is because of I use another miter. Probably, because of yesterday it was clinic and I was under stress. So today sugar went up and post-stress condition. Probably, yesterday it was rainy day, and today is Sunny. Really, it does not matter. I do not try to find out why? I try to make my choice what to do next. I injected three shots, 80 units each one. Usually before bedtime sugar drops, if all day it was up. Probably today it would be the case too. If not then I will try to take actions tomorrow.
What I do think, it is not the case that our sugar react to the situation in the way as we do react to eating. We all do know very well that stress reaction can be postponed even not next day, but weeks or month. So do sugar. It holds for a while, and then when calamities over, it is getting up. This is why we can still alive without food and water, even without sleep. But then we have take time to fix the past. The same our body system. It takes time, and if right now my sugar does not go up then probably it is used saving mood. Finally the energy must be delivered, or system would turned off. This is why today I have to take one shot after another, even my fasting sugar was low in past days and I was going to drop some units in daily dose.
There is another point. I think it must be taken into consideration not only fasting or after meal blood sugar level, but the dose of insulin taken daily, weekly, or monthly. It is important as I do see. well, I do not suggest any suggestions to anyone. I just share my thoughts, nothing more.
A little bit about my left leg, wounded one. The wound slow down, still it is opened. My man re-dress it every day. Still, no wound care supply. Only antiseptic solution cost $13. I do not have money to buy paths or bandages. This is about income when Medicaid was terminated because of income my man did have, unimplemented check $200 more then poverty line, $1100. I have to buy a lot of medical supply, pay co-pays, and it is far away from being cheap. I have to go to clinics every week, and it is money, $2.75 for me one way ride. It is free if I can take public transportation, but I cannot walk or stand.
I have to buy wound care supply, and different solutions and creams, lotions and Vitamins. Because of it is way too expensive, I simple do not do so. And I try to go to clinic as less as I can.
Now it is all the time bulling service that I have to eat right and healthy. There are a lot of suggest what food is healthy and which one is not. In no one way it is presented how $1100 can provide healthy life style and healthy meal? Add here bills and rent, medical costs and clothing, laundry and transport, and try to find penny to any food to eat.

Better Treatment Might Prevent Hundreds of Thousands of Strokes, how to get it? May 24, 2017

The study found that 4 in 10 of the patients weren't getting the blood thinners they needed to cut their stroke risk. Plus, up to 35 percent of patients who were taking the drugs weren't getting them at the recommended amount.

Better Treatment Might Prevent Hundreds of Thousands of Strokes

By Robert Preidt Monday, May 15, 2017  http://ift.tt/2qrUXv9
It is studies, as usual. It does not matter what studies found, the treatment depend from doctor and his ability or willing. Every doctor has right to practice Art of Medicine. I am not doctor. I have no rights. So, if doctor practice, or do not want to practice my safe or well being, it means, I would not have medicine I desperately need.
Seriously, why do not I have Coumadin in my treatment regime? I am 65 years old. I do have diabetes type 2, history or stroke and MI, Pulmonary Embolism, and now there is something wrong with my leg. Why it is so severe edema? Why wounds do not healing? Why? Why? and so why?
Well, probably the answer is in our medical records. I try to find out what was the reason I was in ED and in hospital recently? What was diagnose? There is no diagnose. There is no record I was in hospital in first place. What is interesting I found, and I was not able to get it, why there is so fanny graphic with my weight? Really fanny. Recently I lost 100 pounds, just withing a few days, about two days. So Good of me! Not so fast. Just withing next two or so days I gained 101 pounds! W H A T? This is my medical record! Still, in my medical record there is no record what was diagnose I was in ED and in hospital.
There is another interesting thing in my Summary of medical visits. So, I come to clinic with pain in left leg, and swelling. So, what was discussion and plan for treatment? Refer to the mammogram. After plans like this one they pretend, it is we are who created anecdotes.  No, I am not creator. I just read Summary of my visit  with open mind. I even was not able to laugh. Too sad for me.
So now, there is no Coumadin. In Summary it even was not mentioned. The same there is no scooter I need to get around. Looks like it is not for me.

"Though not a life-threatening rhythm abnormality per se, atrial fibrillation can be associated with devastating life-altering consequences, namely disabling stroke," said one expert, Dr. Nicholas Skipitaris. He directs cardiac electrophysiology at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City.
When people look at obese person like myself with laboring breathing, they usually think it is because of my obesity. It is not. Simple, heart does not have energy to pump the blood. It is difficult to get when one is not in our shoe. We all see what is on the surface. But the problem is no so easy to see. It is easy to see obesity, and easy to see how difficult do I breath. What is not possible to see that every cell of mine floating in water, so high edema is. Not easy to see that my heart suffer damage after recent clot passed through. This event see no one, medical doctors including.
Today I had clinic. When we went out of home I soddenly lost breathing before the door. Just could not take another step. Why? I do not know. But after short rest breath returned and I was able to go to clinic. Doctor suggested I have to take test and it is possible to do right now, today, no additional trip to hospital. "It is right here, in the main building, just cross the street. It is not too far," - he said. It is not to far if one is not morbid. I am not one. I am not able to walk so far. Also I do know, there will not be scooter withing next two weeks, before my next appointment. So, I took the challenge.
I walked fro one building to another, crossed street, took elevator, and then we walked long was in hospital hallways to the office where test was taken. My Goodness! I had done all this trip. When it is suggested that we are not practice activity, then try to take the trip to Everest. For me it as about the same. At least if not to the top of Everest then for the top of Hunter mountain for sure. I had done this hike! And then all way back to the street where my man pick me up.
When we returned home I fall asleep instantly. I almost was not able to get home from car to my apartment.
Now my man changed dressing, put on compressing sleeve, and I am pretty comfortable with it. At least, wounds are not wet, and do not in severe pain. What is going on with my legs? Why wounds are not healing? No diagnose. No answer. No any records in my medical file so far. Treatment with antibiotics, with diuretics I refuse to take, and with some cream to apply on wounds. Also it is wrap, decompression, and bandage which my man think as his second job to do.
"Atrial fibrillation is a major cause of stroke -- at older ages, it is almost the single leading cause," said Dr. Richard Libman, vice chair of neurology at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park, N.Y.
Really I did not get this humor: does this condition leads to death or not? So difficult to get it. Almost the same as the refuse to Rx Coumadin to me. They all the time try to educate me, I do not need it, but I still out of understanding, why? I feel very nice with heparin. If Coumadin is not the same then Rx Heparin to me, right? Wrong. And I am not able to get to the point.
"Sometimes, anticoagulants are withheld simply because the person is old or beyond a certain age," he added, "but these older people are actually at increased risk of stroke from atrial fibrillation, and stand to benefit from taking these medications."
Actually, anticoagulants withhold early then we became too old to use it. The same as Insulin. Try to get first box of insulin, or high dose of insulin if one think that insulin is better treatment then Invokana. Just try it. I am sure, it is almost not possible. Insulin saved many millions lives. Still diabetes type 2 number 7 cause of death, and there is no insulin as first line of treatment for diabetics type 2. Coumadin can safe our lives, prevent disability, keep our mobility. No Coumadin for me so far. I try to get this medicine one year after another. I am survivor. I still fight strokes and MI, and clots still dissolving in my blood.

Wound Care at home. May 22, 2017

The leg still with opened wounds. They just do not go away. It is much better now, Yes, it is. The colr is yellow, nut it is liquid, Iodine, to reduce possible infection and to let wound to dry, and to keep it dry. So, color is not in this way. It is pink, dark pink.
There is foot one can see, and it is swelled, and red, not bright red, but deep redness of inner damage. Otherwise the leg is pretty OK.
My man covered it with Iodine, and with cream all over to avoid dryness and skin breakage. After that he dressed it in own homemade bandage, made from old t-shirts. It is good bandage, soft, and easy to put on, long, and secure to hold all in the place it must be. Above the bandage he put on Medical Sleeve.
Right leg does not have wounds on it. But the size of leg much bigger, and it was too difficult to put one sleeve. My man is good, he had done it, and now I am comfortable with both legs wrapped in decompressing sleeves, different colors. One is whit, and another is Black. very funny.
Today is rainy day. I injected 294 units of Lantus Solo Star, the same dose as it was Yesterday. Yesterday it was no  low sugar. Hope today I would be OK as well.
I am very very sleepy. I simple cannot hold my eyes opened. Headache. Depression.I am really Blue today. In the morning it was very severe pain in left foot. All dressing was taken off. After dressing taken off, swelling returns.
I do have blood work summary. Nurse when I had visit to clinic, told that all my marks are good, but sugar only out of control. What I do see, it is not so easy to say. I do see I am on the border line to develop clots and damage kidney. Also what I do see that some marks can indicate passed clot. Well, it is not in any of mu records. Med Pro simple do see that I do have not all bad marks.
     Today I read article. Woman proud, she lost over 100 pounds just in one year. F A N T A S T I C!
"I always was emotional eater." - she told to author of the article.
Well, this is very important part of all brain washing junk media, to present that we are emotional eaters, all of us and everyone.  Personally, I never was emotional eater. I simple did not have stomach for that type of eating. Also I did not have time to cook.
"My mother was good cook, and it was all the time on our table meat, bread, potato, pasta," - she still share her life style hobbits.
Well, I do not think I am bad cook. It was all the time on  my closet or ref, milk and meat, chicken and fish, potato and pasta, tea and coffee. Sugar never run out of our cabinets, the same as salt. I use salt without iodine. I add to salt different spices. Still all my family but I perfectly fit. I happened to be born diabetic. Home they are in better health then I am. I do worry about my children.
One day lady went to some place with her son, and she was deenied to take a ride because of she was 240 pounds. This is how she said, That's it! No more pounds. And she started to eat right and do work outs.
In contrary, I always fit when my children were little one. Still, I could not take ride with them. I was dizzy, could not take any ride. I went cycling and skiing, hiking and kayaking. I hold my Bally Fitness Club membership till 2015. Now I am not only not able to get there, I cannot dress for work out. I hoped one day I would be back, so I tried to keep it. It was only $99 for year work out, very good price. I lost it.
Why do I post it?  Just compare how it is done to wash our brains. Lady lost over 100 pounds in short time, I did not gain 100 pounds and over for very long time. I always was perfectly fit. Only when my heart started to give up and sugar got way too out of control, I lost control over my shape, and never was able to return to it for long time. It worked for short time, but then all pounds come back, and all the time with plus.  It was not one year, it was all my life. Now she is Celebrity, sort of, because of her carelessness and laziness, and I am bulled all over the internet because of I am diabetic type 2 and I do not control blood sugar. If I will lost 100 pounds, then what, would I be good? Of cause not. I am 373 right now. If I would lost 100 pounds, no one even would see it, it would be 273 still out of any shape.
Well, I do not mind. I am not up to be a Celebrity of any type. I am more concern if my wounds would be gone one day, my legs would be white, and I would be able to walk on two of them rather then be trunk on bed in desperate need to be turned around.

Invocana Risk for Amputation by FDA Boxed warning. May 21, 2017

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a new boxed warning to the label of canagliflozin (Invokana, Invokamet, Janssen) to describe the risk for leg and foot amputations. http://ift.tt/2qHnoHv
Ok, now what? If there is some risk then there something must be done to avoid the issue to happen, what is this?
A Study of the Effects of Canagliflozin on Renal Endpoints in Adult Participants With Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus ― indicate an approximate doubling of the risk for both leg and foot amputations in canagliflozin-treated patients compared to those randomly assigned to receive placebo.
This is too risky to take medicine which double diabetics' risk for amputation of both legs. Also there is good question, why it is so high rick that both legs can be amputated at the same time or in closer time? For me it looks like it is one problem, big one, why diabetic lost both legs. And what about other organs? What about mortality rate with Invokana, Invocanamet, and Janssen?  Really there is the question, if medicine is too risky to take then why this medicine must be taken by victim? Of cause it is easy to post box and say that do not take this medicine if.... and contact doctor  right away, but what doctor would suggest?
Before prescribing canagliflozin, the FDA advises healthcare professionals to consider factors that may predispose patients to amputations, including a history of prior amputation, peripheral vascular disease, neuropathy, and diabetic foot ulcers.
FDA advice? Really what is this about?  So, diabetic who already has prior amputation, why this was happened? Was the problem solved? Not at all. Diabetic still has high blood sugar and Invokana is blood sugar lowering medicine, at least as it is presented. Then why amputation got in first place? Was Invokana effective to reduce blood sugar level? Was it is effective medicine to treat diabetic type 2? Most important when diabetes type 2 progressed to the point when gangrene is on the table say me, is this really true that there is no foot ulcers, CVD, or neuropathy? They are all already present,. So, why Incokana Rx in first place?
If Invokana lead to amputation and all complications such as CVD, neuropathy, and foot ulcers, then it is best way to do Rx Invokana. It does not work safely for diabetics type 2 and lead to develop very danger, life threatening complications. Not at all. Invokana got warning box in its table. Then there are other studies would be done, paid by manufactures, and a new studies would prove, there is no rick for amputations. Warning box would be removed. Regardless of warning box in the medicine lable, diabetics type 2 would get surgeon knife and legs would be cut off below or above the knee.
Patients taking canagliflozin should be monitored for signs and symptoms of those conditions. The drug should be discontinued if these complications occur.
Well, it is very easy to say to discontinue drug, the problem how to do so? Before drug would be discontinued it must be replaced by another one. It is not possible just take off medicine if one has chronicle medical condition. So, before Invokana would be discontinued, it would be replaced by Invokanamet, then Janssen would replace Invokanamet, and soon all of them would be replaced in another way of replacement therapy. If it is not this medicine then which one to replace Invokana? FDA better to advice, or recommend, but it is even better to have protocol what doctor must do if one medicine does not work, which one must replace it? All what doctor do just practice Art Of Medicine, each one as one may.
There is another problem with replacement of Invocana. Invokana is strong, very strong diuretic. Leg amputation is result of water retention, Edema. How FDA suggest to treat Edema in Diabetics type 2? If Invokana would be cut off from medical regime, Edema would be increased. No one other diuretic would be more effective to cut Edema as it is Invokana. Diabetic type 2 and doctor sit inside of trap. If Invokana cut off then Edema kill Diabetic type 2. If Invokana still in treatment regime then it is Amputation. The choice is hard, but obvious. Doctor would avoid to discontinue Invokana.
Healthcare professionals and patients are encouraged to report adverse events or side effects related to the use of these products to the FDA's MedWatch Safety Information and Adverse Event Reporting Program:
What for? Invokana must not be on market in first place. It is not medicine to treat diabetes type 2 in first place. After medicine was started it is very very difficult to avoid its complications. Invokana Deadly March is took off and not is is wide and strong.
The European Medicines Agency has been investigating this phenomenon since April 2016, and in February 2017 issued a requirement that the labels of all drugs of the sodium glucose cotransporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitor class carry the amputation warning.
I am wander, does this medicine still carry on other warnings? As I do remember there were other boxes in label, such as CVD warning, stroke warning? Are they stay present in label or they were taken off?
The whole idea of these agents are : insulin/beta cell independent effect with added benefits like weight and BP. These are in fact the factors to prevent complications like amputations !!
Looks like it does not the issue. Complications are not developed but the resulted by medicine. Another interesting question, is medicine worked out diabetes type 2 problem? Did it increased insulin in blood stream? Good question, bad answer. It is not. If so then medication such as Invokana what for? And finally, what does it mean, 'insulin/beta cell independent effect'? It mean that diabetes type 2 has no meaning, no description, no clear understanding what is it and how to address to the problem. So, there is no answer possible in not fat future. So, our studies would develop a new types of Invokana, and lead us to  double increase doubled rick for amputations and death penalty for wrong life style. At least it is easy to say, we did it for ourselves. We are only to whom to blame.
With so much of adverse reactions associated with these molecules i always wonder why FDA approved these molecules.
Good question. No good answer. Before try to get answer to this question try to ask, what is diabetes type 2? based on what diagnose diabetes type 2 determined? There is no answer to this question. Diabetes is disease of pancreas, but diagnosed not according to health of pancreas but level of sugar in blood. This level of sugar in blood based on so many evidence that it is not possible to relay on the test. So, how diagnose of diabetes type 2 made? If there is no diagnose, no mark how to check up if medicine wars or not then there is no any prove that Invokana was effective in first place. If so then what was left? What for diabetic type 2 takes Invokana?

Day-by-Day. Trip to Saratoga Springs. May 20, 2017

Today we went for Saratoga Springs to fetch some mineral water. Before bed Yesterday my man put on dressing on my left leg, and put on decompression sleeve. Early in the morning I woke up with severe pain in left foot, so severe I was not able to stand, or walk. But It went down and I still wear the decompression sleeve on my left leg. It is really interesting. Usually doctors use to say, I have to hold my legs up, to let water go up rather then down. In contrary, when I sit, pain is easy. This was the same today in the morning. I was able to sit on the bed, so leg was down. Pain eased. Soon I was able to stand up and walk. It is not first time I have this observation. Often I am not able to fall asleep, but I fall asleep behind my computer. As soon as I go to bed, pain in left leg became not bearable. I have to get up and go to take a sit behind my deck.
Today is sunny day in NYC. In the morning it was looks like rain, but there were no rain and in Saratoga Springs it was very sunny and hot. Today is Earth Day. There is big celebration in park. All parking lot busy. A lot of old and little one. Many in green t-shirts. We were too busy to collect water. But most important I did not feel good. I hardly was able to sit in car, and move no where. well, we stopped in Walmart, we all time do. I used to have great time selecting fabric, and there are a good selection. So my man spent about $100 for my good mood. But after we come to park I was blue, and in great pain. So, we left without visiting park. Right after water was in car we left for home. In the way home I was very sleepy.
It is really very interesting, when we returned home I am OK, and there is no problem. In Saratoga Most time I do not feel good. I do not like sunny days, or rainy dais, or any days. I never feel good in Saratoga. It is usually headache, and depression, and something else.
I really love Saratoga Springs. It is very lovely town, with nicely well groomed streets, golf curse, museums, great park, a lot of green, grass and trees and good shopping. People in Saratoga Springs are friendly, all time ready to help with directions and info. It is popular destination of NYC, Canada, and Americans from other cities. It was time when Saratoga Spring was most popular city of America. American Presidents and politicians come to take Mineral waters to drink and take Bath with waters. British Royal family tried to buy some property there. Saratogians refused to sell it. They fight for land, Mineral Springs, and for legacy of Saratoga Land.
Today Saratoga is less popular. American Presidents are no longer visit this old American Town. No one president come to take Mineral Spa. But still, it is busy town and we go for Saratoga twice each year.  Saratoga Mineral Waters are best in the word. They are natural, no preservatives, no water a year. Water run out of Spring, and ready to be collected.
My most loved Spring is Orenda. I do not know why, but I do love this water more then any other of 26 Springs. Even most strong Hathorn #3 still not my fav. But Orenda is.

Possible Cures for Type-1 in the News (May)

Phase-I Study of Of Gluten Free Diet In Honeymoon Type 1 Diabetes (Diabglut)

This trial will recruit 160 children, aged 3 to 18.  It started in December 2015, and is expected to end in December 2020. Half of the people will be put on a gluten free diet within one month of diagnosis, and the other half will not (and will be the control group).

This study is being done in Skanes University Hospital, Lund, Region Skane, Sweden, 22185

Discussion

My first thoughts when I saw this study were: "Why do a study like this?  Does anyone really believe that a gluten free diet will cure/improve type-1 diabetes?"

The researchers included four previous studies as references for this work, but I think the one that mattered was this one:
http://ift.tt/2rntA8u
This is the case study of a single patient (a five year old boy).  He was was put on a gluten free diet a few weeks after diagnosis, and remained off insulin for 20+ months.  That's an unusually strong honeymoon, and I think it is reasonable to say that the researchers are hoping that they can create that kind of honeymoon in other newly diagnosed people.

For me, case studies (like this one) represent a middle ground between anecdotes and scientific studies.  I don't think they are very strong by themselves, but I do think that following them up with a research study is a good way to proceed.

The other three studies cited by the researchers as background for this research were much less dramatic. One study tried delaying introduction of gluten in the diet of babies: no effect. Another tried putting people with two antibodies on a gluten free diet before diagnosis: no effect on eventual diagnosis, but might have a small effect on beta cell survival after diagnosis. The third study was population based, and suggested that introducing gluten earlier (at 4 months, rather than later) might lower the rate of celiac diagnosed at 12 years. As a population study, I don't put a lot of weight on it, and the impact was to celiac and not type-1, in any case.

Minimal Islet Transplant at Diabetes Onset (MITO)

This is mostly a transplant trial, so I don't expect to follow it moving forward, but it is a different type of transplant, so I'm describing it here.

Most transplants are done on the most seriously impacted people with type-1 diabetes.  These people often have a lot of trouble controlling their type-1, they are often already having serious complications, and are generally on the worst side of the type-1 spectrum.  These are the people who often volunteer for transplantation.

This study is targeting the opposite: people who within 6 months of type-1 diagnoses, and are still generating some residual insulin.  The idea is to transplant some islet cells in combination with ATG, G-CSF, and Rapamycin treatments. It's a "kitchen sink" approach.  All of those treatments are in active clinical trials right now, but none of them has been shown effective so far.

I do think that it will be valuable to get data from people who are not so extremely sick when they get their transplant, although I doubt this will lead to a cure in the short term.

They are recruiting 6 people in Italy:

T-Rex Now Can Enroll People 8 Years Old, and Older

Previously, they could enroll people as young as 12, but they have enough safe results with those kids, so that the FDA will now allow kids as young as 8 to enroll. You can read all about the technique they are using and who is eligible in my previous blogging:http://ift.tt/2rnLtUK

Also, the last time I blogged, this study was only recruiting in two locations, but now they are recruiting all over the US, from Oregon to Connecticut to Florida to UCSF, not to mention Tennessee, Missouri, Massachusetts, Indiana, and that is not a complete list.  (See the Clinical Trial Record, link below, to get a complete list.)

This is a phase-II trial which is a follow on to the previous "Polyclonal T-Reg" study, which I also blogged about here:

Wounds. Edema. May 19, 2017

 Left leg.
I was told, I have to take diuretics. This problem come from withing, from inside. Till problem inside would be solved, wounds cannot be stopped. I almost was ready to take it, and start to take diuretics. At least I am not med pro. I do not have medical experience. I have to relay to the professional opinion, do I?
http://ift.tt/2qwHtjS
My Goodness! It is Invokana, very strong diuretic. Why diabetics type 2 became amputee? Really why?
I do knot have answer to this question. I never took Invokana, nether do I going to take it. I avoid any diuretics. But I did not know this side effect of Invokana till I got my own problems with edema. Now I do have this look from inside, rather then from reading posts of Old Wives reversed diabetes type 2 with diet or work outs.
Really, why it is going in this way? before diabetic will lay on the surgeon table, there are so many days passed, so many doctors visits, so many money spent to educate diabetic type 2 how to reduce swelling, lost weight, and control blood sugar. All this time we are in medical clinics, ED, or in hospitals.  Today my leg is possible to safe. Only good treatment and right one. I was on very good road to recovery. Then in Thursday it was last visit. No wrap. No wound care anymore. For how long?
I tried to ask if supply is available to order. I got just Rx, but where get product? No any idea. CVS does not sell it. My mail pharmacy does not have it, nether do they have Rx.
Probably if Rx was right, then I would have supply. But it is not I who can say to doctor what to do.
There is another problem. I was given Rx to cream. Doctor said I can buy it in any pharmacy. In contrary they do not sell it, they need Rx. When my man finally got this cream two days ago, the cost was $22+. Today cream is over, and I need to pay another $22+ for another two days. It is legs to put cream on. It is big surface. One wrap is $1.49 + s&h. One bandage is $1,49 +s&h. Every time I need two of each. I need another supply, and even if it cost just $1 still, I need 7 on one dressing, plus bandage to wrap big surface. It is not one day, I need to do so every day.
we are easy to be bulled. All what we done for ourselves. So simple. Just stop to eat, and there is no diabetes, really? If there still pancreas, and pancreas effected by disease, then say me how it is possible that Starvation will reverse this disease? It is not possible. But when the diagnosed based on the level of sugar in blood, and there is no glucose for body to function, then there is no high blood sugar. The problem solved. Simple and brilliant.
The question still, why if today so many warnings how Invokana danger for diabetics type 2, why today it still on the medical regime of many diabetics?
I was very confused with this situation. What is first cross any mind, it is money and Big Pharma does not want to lose profit.  The situation is more deep and more danger.
With Invokana diabetic lost weight, very significant weight loss. This weight loss is the big deal of all Medical Complex Propaganda. So, if diabetic type 2 lost even a few pounds with Invokana, and it is really happened, Invokana created for this reason, then how to stop this medicine? Not possible. When Invokana stopped, weight go up in speedy way. But it was presented that with weight loss blood sugar wound go away, and it is treatment for diabetics type 2, first line treatment. Easy to say, not possible to prove. Invokana said it right opposite. In stead to get rid of Diabetes type 2 diabetics lost parts of body, one surgery after another, toe, leg, another leg..... .
Amputations of the toe and middle of the foot were the most common, but leg amputations below and above the knee also occurred. Some patients had more than one amputation, some had amputations involving both limbs, according to the FDA.
Amputations of diabetics type 2 do not come overnight. It takes time, month after month. We are not in combat field. We are in beds.
It is Edema, long term complication.
What is the treatment for Edema? My wounds started develop in March. Today is May 19, 2017. Wounds still out of control. What is the treatment? No one.
The same as with high blood sugar numbers our Medical Complex do one just, put finger into victim, and present, it is we are who done it for ourselves.
I try very hard to fight Edema. I cannot do it. I simple cannot wrap my legs and remove water from inside. And I cannot take diuretics. Diuretics, Invokana, it is trap, at least how do I see it. It is easy to start, but I am diabetic type 2. My body effected by pancreas disease. This is why my body as it was observed in first medical books, never stop making water. What is the cause of this condition, why water does not go away but stay between cells, I do not know. What I do suspect, ether Invokana nether any other diuretics can do the job and remove water from between the sells. Invokana as any other diuretic remover water from the blood. Our problem is not in blood. Our problems very very deep inside. This is why there still no cure for diabetes. Smart Medical Complex will look for cure other hundreds years, still we will die. We are way too profitable to be cured. For those who are on top of Everest and Political Power there are cure already. For us, medical Bills, Suffering, Bulling Therapy, Mocking and Abuse.
Do you know what is first question in clinic I enter? Do You Control Blood Sugar Level? Also there is never answer how to do so.

Diabetes Blog Week Day 5: More Than My Diabetes

Sandbar at sunset.
Photographed as found.
Today is the last day of Diabetes Blog Week (THANK YOU KAREN,) and it's all about our passions besides diabetes

I am more than just my diabetes and I certainly have other interests besides diabetes.
I love cooking and I love cooking for others.
I love traveling and I need to do more.
Children and animals make me smile and I try and spend as much time as I can with both.
Books have been my life long friends, going to the movies is and attending plays and important to me. Speaking of, I love performing and I miss it.
Yours truly is a fan of all things sparkly because I am my mothers daughter.
I have a large collection of  antique jewelry (real, but mostly costume,) that span the decades and I love learning about and finding new pieces. My collection adds flair to my most basic outfits - as well as my most fab.
Native American jewelry are stories in silver and stone and I love learning and wearing those stories.

The beach and the ocean bring me peace  - I love being in and on the water and along the shore and in the waves are where I feel most free and centered.

Same goes for art in all mediums, though photography is the one I actually work in.
I LOVE  photography.
Taking photographs is way for me to see the world through different lenses and perspectives - it’s also my therapy.

There was at time I loved to have my picture taken - now I like to be the one taking the pictures.
Some of my photos are in this post and I hope they make you smile!
