It is common that diabetics have high water retention. To treat this condition diuretics suggested.  Coronary artery show marked sclerosis when autopsy performed. In some cases it is self-healing MI with blood vessel rupture. The death usually sudden. In diabetics who were diagnosed as children this condition when diabetes under considerable control, coronary artery disease are less common, and usually they live full duration of life according to the cohort.
      It was observed back in 1937. Nowadays we do have better and early diagnose of diabetes, so treatment for diabetes may be started early. But in contrary, diabetics type 2 die withing 10 years after being diagnosed with diabetes type 2. We diagnosed as insulin-independent type of diabetes, even it is no longer used in discussions. we are insulin resistant diabetics who has low sensitivity to insulin so we need higher dose of insulin to survive, and out medical care push our ill and hardly able to work pancreas to secret more and more insulin, to deplete beta cells, and be out of public health system.
      Heart attack and strokes which can be easy prevented with right insulin therapy for diabetics type 2 is top ten cause of deaths in America. Long before diabetes will kill its victim heart would stop due to hardly dense syrupy blood, glue-like. It is easy to reduce water in our system with diuretics. What will happen with blood? Would our blood less dense? Not at all. Try to reduce water from syrup, and there would be jam.
      The books published back to 1921 and late are interesting to read, much more informative then any books in today publications. At that time doctors studies what happened with patient, how medicine helped? if patient died then they show autopsy why it happened. In nowadays, what scientists are studying? Professor Taylor seat and thoughtfully look at beta cells on MRI image. LOL! How he can see them with naked eye? But his investigations got millions in donations, and there is nothing what can stop him to see all what donor wish professor Taylor to see.
      The same I wish to say about ADA. Really, where donations go? To present that cure for diabetes type 2 is STARVATION DIET? Really, why they do not try to use this diet and stop to ask for donations?
