Non-Insulin Dependent Diabetes. April 7, 2017

"Turning to diet first we have to remember that the chance for diabetes doubles for every 20% of excessive weight, and that diet alone may be more effective in prolonging the life of the not insulin dependent diabetic patient than other therapeutic agents. So, what does the term diet mean?" (Page 12.)
Well, before I will go into discussion what diet mean, I do have question, what does it mean "the not insulin dependent diabetic patient"? Really, what does it mean? If patient is diabetic then it is pancreas disorder when insulin secretion is not sufficient or absent. If insulin secretion is sufficient then patient may have any medical condition but diabetes. There are many ill or sick people who have very wide range of disease, and it does not mean that they all do have diabetes. There are diabetics who are otherwise healthy but only pancreas removed or effected, so they die due to absence of insulin secretion. So, Medical Congress, International Diabetes Congress in Vienna, 1979, what they really talking about?
There are many tricks medical pro developed to fool human society. Looks like they have never-ending April Fool. Not insulin dependent diabetes, or insulin resistant diabetes, or metabolic syndrome, or  not-diabetes high blood sugar, or .... you name it, they will take it, regardless how absurd or ridiculous it sound. What they never take that insulin is only treatment so fat to treat diabetes, regardless of type of it, stage of it, or any dependency. Insulin is the only medicine so far for diabetes treatment.
There are a lot of speculations why we do have diabetes, where this condition takes its roots. Some theory now it is virus. Other theories it is inflammation. Some theory it is immune system attacks its own beta cells. And that it is heredity. Most wide spread   and most ridiculous the cause of diabetes that it caused by obesity, weight collection. There is no one evidence to support this claim except that diabetics type 2  mostly obese or overweight.  No one even think that if one got into car accident due to unsafe driving one have to take driving lesson before being admitted into hospital. Still every one sure that diabetic type 2 have to lose weight before insulin therapy to reduce fatally high level of sugar would be initiated. Absurd. But this is reality of our life.
I posted many times, why with so wide spread diabetes the level of sugar still not vital? Just why? It is so easy. With every visit to any clinic or hospital every one patient must be checked for the level of sugar in blood. The cost of glucose strip, $1. Why it is out of clinical practice? Probably because of myth that diabetes caused by obesity would be dismantled. Society would be surprise how many diabetics type 2 fit and perfect in shape do have elevated level of sugar in blood. Long before sugar would be in urine, or urination will be passing-through.
There are another surprise would our society face. Diabetes is curable. Withe early detection and early insulin therapy, even with insulin vaccination in birth house diabetes would be no longer tread for humanity. Really? What our medical Pro suppose to do? Who today is the most important  money carrier into medical industry? Diabetics type 2. Not type 1 diabetics. They do not need so much medical care. But we are, diabetics type 2 cannot stay out of clinics and hospitals.
I posted lastly how my legs looks like. So interesting. It is thrombosis. It could be easy if I had caumadin in my regime, but there is no caumadin for me. My blood is way to dense. It clothing, and now it is Deep Vein Thrombosis, very poor circulation. Water go through skin, and skin melting, getting out of flesh. I was in ER and then in hospital.Wounds still wet, no healing. Nurse did not want to change dressing. Dressing get wet less then an hour after being changed.
In hospital there is special clinic, Wound Care clinic. I called and got appointment right to the next day, Wednesday. Both my legs were put into decompressing bandage. But my left leg is in such deep wounds, I could not stand the pain, and removed all dressing before night. In the morning pain eased, I called back to clinic, and at the end of the day come back. They changed dressing on left leg. It was so big surprise, dressing still dry! The improvement Fantastic! Extreme redness fading. Pain eased. Now next visit in Tuesday.
The question is, why there is no wound Care in hospital? No wound Care in ER?
There is another question, what diet can do the healing of diabetics wounds? I cannot take Diuretics. So, there is no one meal which can work for me to reduce water retention. Even watermelon is not for me. Insulin is my choice. Today I took 280 units, 20 units less then usual. I can walk today. What if a new skin would cover my wounds?  That's right, not good. It is better for business when skin is melting. After skin melted then flesh started to melt and go out of bones. Then there are amputations. ..... . Do I really need it? The question is, who need it? The answer is simple. Every one do know it way too well.
This is why Diabetes today is not curable. There  is no way to cure any medical condition without starting to treat it. The same as 100 years ago diabetics treated with diet. The same as 100 years ago we die with this treatment. The difference is only, 100 years ago there are children died. Not less children die, but more adult, old. Neglected. Bulled. Mocked. Living in pain, day after day. Just think about, your skin go out of your leg. Your flesh go out of your bones.
There are many groups to protect animals rights, immigrants rights, criminal rights, and so on. I do not pretend we are more important then any other groups. But why we are less important? Why with so wide spread of diabetes there is no one group to protect our rights to live pain free? Why insulin is not first line treatment for diabetics, but diet? Diet, really, what does it mean? That we did it for ourselves? That it is my obesity why my skin meting? There is no obesity. It is edema. Very severe edema, why water has to go out through skin. Diabetes is not metabolic disorder. It is Pancreas disorder, and it is insufficient insulin secretion, so insufficient that there is almost no insulin secretion at all. I live on insulin injections day after day. The same as dogs in lab when the researcher removed dog's pancreas and keep it alive with daily insulin injections.
I am Not Insulin Dependent Diabetic Type 2 living on daily insulin injections 300 units dose. Take this insulin away, and less then a few month my sugar would be fatal. But if I do have insulin to inject I live, sound, fight my severe pain, and capable to work out my wounds to be cleaned and healed.
