Medical Records, Medical Treatmnt, and what is true about Medical Care in America. May 10, 2017

Sugar is 256 mg/dl, fasting.
This level of sugar is high even for after meal, and it is early morning. I just woke up.
   Yesterday it was Primary Clinic. Actually, it was two clinics in one day, Wound Care clinic and Primary Clinic. I was really very very tied Yesterday.
      Wound is healing on the left leg. It ia almost gone in left leg in front. Still it is opened wound in back, I cannot see it in back, and there is no picture of it how it is looks like right now. In front a new sking closed the opened wound, but all front still dark burgundy. Still, it is dry, and no longer in pain. Left leg no longer under heavy edema. It is under compressed wrap one week after another.  Above that compress wrap it is redness and irritation started to develop.
      The same irritation, but in bigger area started on right leg. Right leg has severe edema, huge, wide, and redness spread all over the low part of leg. Looks like right leg develops the same condition as it is left leg.
    Before I asked a few times that in clinic they will wrap both legs, so edema will go away. I cannot take diuretics. Looks like this is only way to fight edema which can work for me. It did not work, and now edema is high on right leg, and right leg irritated and severely itching. I do have one more wrap in my home. So, my man did the job. He wrapped my right leg as he could. Doctor gave me name of some lotion, he said I can buy it is local pharmacy. Yes, I can buy it, but only if I do have Rx. I do not have it. Really, did doctor know that he must give Rx for it? Why not? Probably insurance would pay for it?
     After Wound Care Clinic we left for Primary Doctor Clinic. Doctor was not present but there was RN. We waited very long till she come to room. I even worried they forgot about me, and I tried very hard to listen if there still people in office. I was left in room once, and everybody forgot I was there. So, I worried. It least it is the end of day, I am one of the last patients in clinic.  But RN finally come, so it was relieve.
       Well, it became very interesting. Really it is. She tried to convince me, I do not have clots.
--------Do you see, there is no clots in your medical record. We run tests. - she insisted.
------- So, what happened with my leg, and why I was in hospital?
She tried to say something I did not get. But the point is, there  is no Deep Vein Thrombosis. Record show. Do not say me what record show. Record in the medical office, and thromboses in my veins. Big difference I will say.
There is interesting point about hospital and records. Hospital still not paid by insurance for my stay. Of cause it is easy to blame insurance company, they do not pay for my stay in hospital. However, when I think a little bit deeper, I am thinking, what diagnose they put in my record? If they put thrombosis, then it is not possible that discharge on next day is right in treatment of patient. No way that thrombus would go away without treatment for so short time. If put in record that there was something they put on, then why I was admitted into hospital in first place? With this diagnose I have to be treated in outpatient setting, no admission. So, there is conflict between treatment and diagnose, and which one is right?
        So, now RN tried to convince me, in what? That I do not need treatment I need? I still do not bite it. I insist I need medicine which will work to dissolve blood clots. RN insists I do not have blood clots.  I asked, why it is so resistant to Rx medicine I ask? Let us just try. She insists it is risk of bleeding. Well, the risk of bleeding with plavix is well known. I take plavix last 7 years, and still no bleeding. I have history of heavy bleeding in past, before I started to take Plavix. Really, bleeding is resulted untreated diabetes type 2 I already was diagnosed with. Why it was untreated diabetes type 2 if I was in clinic every month? Because of Metforming, Glipizide (SU), and Life style Modifications I was treated with this medicine almost 10 years before  I started Insulin Therapy, did not work. Simple, it was not right treatment.
        Coumadin is medicine which work to prevent strokes and heart attack. It is medicine to dissolve  blood clots. It is risky medicine, I do know it and I do understand this risk. It still does not mean I should not take it. Try to get insulin. It is too risky. This is why there is no RX to insulin to millions of diabetics type 2. We die without any risk. I refuse to die. I still try to fight.
--------"Why I cannot have Coumadin?" - I asked RN.
  • I am diabetic;
  • I am 65 years old;
  • I do have history of stroke and heart attack;
  • I do have Deep Vein Thrombosis now.
Why I am not qualified to have medicine which probably will help me to survive another stroke or heart attack?
        Still, I do not have medicine which I need. As usual, it is easy to get all what I do not need, but there is difficult to get what I need.
        Usually after we come home from medical clinic I go to bed right away. Yesterday I was not able to fall asleep almost all night. Today fasting sugar is out of any control.
       After hospital I use all my old t-shirts to wrap my opened wounds. No medical supply. Insurance ready to pay, still, I cannot find pharmacy which will take Rx and I will have wound care supply. After hospital I am in the same condition as I was before. In other words, I am by my own.All what I do have just medical records, I have .... interesting, there is even no record that I am 372 lbs. In my medical record I am 272 lbs. I am not. I am 372 lbs. LOL. Yesterday in clinic they try to convince me, it is 272 lbs. I said, let us take it right. I even ready to step on scale. When I did, the scale was overclouded. Scale only for 300 pounds. I said, it is easy to see, it cannot be 272, right? Wrong. It is medical record. What they put on it, this is the true. The same fake true as many fake news in our Media.
