2017-2018 Best Hospitals Honor Roll. How Good They Are? August 8, 2017

When we take a look at the Roll we assume, the top ranked  hospitals have better service then lower ranked hospitals, right? Still, what is reality? How The Roll was created? It is most important. With 'right' work The Best can be The Worst and vice versa, right?
        I am patient in New York–Presbyterian Hospital, New York ranked #8 in The Roll. A few days ago I got call from my primary doctor office that appointment for September 12, 2017 for me was canceled. I no longer do I have this appointment. My previous appointment was June 20, and another one on June 4. On June 4 doctor did not show up in clinic room. He sent scribe. So on June 20 I saw my primary at first time from March when I was in hospital. Almost three month. At that time no one call from office how patient is doing. No medicine for me to address my severe condition with leg complications. Now the same as it was on leg started to develop on my left hand. And I do not have clinic to go.
       I am not first day patient of this doctor. What treatment I do have? The same as every one of us. He sent me in all directions to show appreciation to his colleagues. He happy to give me reefer to weight loss surgery or any other surgery I will accept. He put me to take all Junk Medicine our medical industry developed in very wide number. What he never Rx, medicine or service I need.
      I am disable person. Do I have disability? Of cause not. It is doctor who must do paper work. He never did. He even refuse to sent papers that I need cane to walk. My cane is old one. It started to fall apart. Grip almost gone. No cane for me. I cannot buy cane in .99 store. It is too danger. I do relay on my cane. This cane must hold 400 pounds of my weight, and also stand strong when I go up from floor. Right now I do have scooter. Do not mind it was doctor who ordered it for me. It was my Social Worker and Nurse job why do I have it now. Do not ask doctor, it is useless.
      When I was in hospital first what doctor done was .... insulin termination. 300 units of insulin were stopped at once, no one injection till I was in hospital. When some one suggested that I would be discharged I did not resist. So, the question is, what I did in hospital in first place? Of cause doctor created papers I was doing better or just cured. I still not. Now it is August, five month after hospital stay. Two clinics with primary doctor, and I suspect, it is only because of he could not avoid to see me any longer. If I would be in hospital under his care I would be simple placed behind curtains till I will stop to breath. Then it is time to go to strip department, to re-use organs which still good working, stomach for instance.
      How Rank in The Roll determined I still have no one idea. It is dirty work, and no one do know why this hospital is better then another one. My local hospital all the time sent me mail after I stopped by for any service. Well, what can I say about this papers?
      "Was meal good? It meals that meal which must be hot was hot and which must be cold was cold".
      Of cause it was. Boiling water was hot. Dry cereal was cold. Meal was not eatable. But there are no one question about this opportunity to say. Of cause all nurses were good and polite. They even barked in low voices. What about doctors? There is no question how doctors worked, polite or being very very rude. They are above our judgments.  They are "Gods!". They provide service! My goodness. This is why we all go from one hospital to another, and carry on public money from one pocket to another. So doctors never lost money flow.
       There is another anecdotes from my recent visit to my primary. On June 4 scribe ask what bring me in clinic. So I said, it is complications on my left leg. She gave me referral to see eye doctor. Still, I do have swelling on my legs, and now my left hand started to swell as it was with left leg.  Looks like eye doctor did not do good job. What I suppose to do now? Probably go to dentist. Maybe he will be more effective to work out my hand and legs swelling.
      In 2016 every appointment to my primary I tried to have were canceled. Doctor was never available for me.  So simple I wish to say. Just sent money, and there is no any other obligations to patient or society, or any professional responsibility. Well, it is easy to ask, why I do not try to have another doctor, right? Because of they are all alike. Ask any one patient who is ill. Try to be sick or ill, and see by yourself.
