Sugar is 132 mg/dl, fating.
It is abnormal level of sugar, and it is eligible for diagnose of diabetes type 2. But, really, what dos it mean, and if this is really high blood sugar level? Not in my case. I am diabetic type 2. I do have high-low all the time during the day and day after day. So, what is so unusual in this number? All the time diabetic's under pressure. We have to eat less then non-diabetics to have blood sugar less then it is possible with our limited insulin secretion. We cannot find the job because most companies do not hire diabetics, and even we are not diagnosed diabetics we never pass medical. If we able to get health insurance then we have to pay higher delectable. It is estimated that diabetics need more medical visits and medicine then healthy people. In schools and in colleges we cannot have training for many jobs, because of our diabetes. And if we were given job, we have to hie our real condition, that we are 'normal'.
There are millions of us. No needed medicine. No any benefits. No meaning to live. This is reality of Diabetics type 2 life. Most time people hide, we are diabetics type 2. What is the reason to be opened as diabetic type 2? Really, think twice before taking this test to be diagnosed with diabetes type 2. 30.2 Americans live with diabetes, according to ADA. 95% of diabetics are diabetics type 2, those of diabetics who 'did it for themselves', according to the medical care.
Insulin, the medicine discovered almost 100 years ago, is not medicine for us. The result is, about 80,000 diabetics die every year. Diabetics type 2 die because all our organs effected by condition, and no one treatment for us. It is not the case that there is no medicine for diabetics type 2. But this medicine must be Rx by medical pro, and they do Rx only life style modifications.
In my library now I do have book, published back in 1965. The insulin resistance was even probably at that time it was not so widely diagnosed as in present days. Diabetic required 400 units of insulin daily dose to keep him alive and functional. At that time insulin was in lower concentration then it is now. What medical pro done in this case? They Rx glucose lowering medicine + steroids, and dose of insulin dropped from 400 units down to 200 units. So what? Is the condition of patient became better with 200 units of insulin and steroids and glucose lowering tablets? Author did not mention it. There is no info for how long victim survived this therapy. The question is, after lowering dose of daily injections from 400 down to 200 was dose of insulin considered 'notmal'? Was diabetic type 1, or still 'insulin resistant diabetic type 2', so insulin finally was taken off his treatment option and only steroids were left?
I live in NYC. In NYC diabetes number 4 cause of death. In the rest of the country it is place number 7 . Our mayor Mr. De Blasi open hands for illegal immigrants and suggest we stand by them because of they need us. Sure they do. My man lost his bob because of illegal immigrants do it for lower salary, and boss prefer their job. My man lost his job. The SSI I used to have at that time was terminated. Medicaid was terminated. No insulin delivery. In my local hospital illegal immigrants all the time do have place to get treatment. Not for me. There were no insulin for me. Barking, abuse, attempt to use me as a human lab rat, all was available for me. No insulin.
No the question is, do I really need those illegal immigrants? Or Dreamers, who will grow up, get naturalization, and my man will lost job he has right now? Do I need it? No, I do not. I used to Dream, my problems are solved right now. They are not. Every pen I take from fridge have one meaning for me, it is insulin, it is my life, will I have this pen next time I need it? I survived when insulin was not avalable for me because of diagnose type 2 diabetes. Why type 2?No one med pro will diagnose diabetic type1 and start with insulin. It is complicated. To Rx diet and weight lose surgery is safe for every med pro. This is why we all type 2, outcast.
OK, looks like today is not my day. Headache.
