Sugar 79mg/dl at 3;45 am.
I am sleepy and I go to sleep at day time or night time, just when I fall asleep. So, I was in bed.
Yesterday from 2 pm to 10;30 pm. When I woke up I took 100 units of Lantus Solo Star and 40 units of Toujeo Solo Star.120 units at 10;30 pm. The total for Yesterday was 500 units.
Today in the morning at 3;45 am I took Lantus Solo Star 100 units and 25 units of Toujeo solo star. Right now sugar is 113 mg/dl at 10;12 am.
I am concern. why dose of insulin started to go up so fast, so dramatically? I do have severe swelling. I do have severe headache at night, so severe I cannot wake up. Also I do have problems with heart, like apprehension. Why this is so? I really do not feel bad. My numbers are good. My blood started to get better. When I take reading blood run over the finger, never this happened before. I even think I am no longer need Coumadin to make my blood running. If so, why this swelling and headaches, and drowsiness?
Really, it is 500 units of insulin. I feel I can take more and looks like to keep my numbers down soon I will really need more then 500 units. Today fasting sugar is good because of Yesterday I increased dose of Lantus Solo Star. If so then what is I just cover Toujeo with Lantus? What if Toujeo make me ill? I really never too so high dose of insulin as 500 units. It was 400 units of Lantus Solo star and 100 units of Toujeo solo star.
Really I have to do something to check it up, what Toujeo do for me, good or bad? I still do not figure it out yet, but I have to.
When first time I started to take Toujeo I took full dose of it, and did not take Lantus Solo star at all. My numbers went up and up. I do not remember what happened besides of increased level of sugar, but I stopped to take Toujeo once and all dose and returned back to Lantus Solo Star. So, I never took two of them together. Still, I am interesting, maybe, just maybe if I take low, small dose of Toujeo solo start I will benefit of it? I gave it try. Now I have to see if it work or it did not and Toujeo is not my type of insulin.
I do not have low sugar. I do not feel I do have low sugar. At one moment I even thought Toujeo is softer and it makes smoother transition to recovery. Right now I can say nothing, if it is right or I do need to take tow of them together.
