The Biggest Loser Contestants and Diabetes. November 5, 2017

Persistent increased physical activity is likely essential for long-term maintenance of weight loss, new research from participants in the US TV reality show The Biggest Loser suggests.
The Biggest Loser: Physical Exertion Is Key to Keeping Weight Off

It is important, not only lose weight but how to keep it off. Is this possible? I still not able to see any evidence to confirm this claim.
What really "Big Losers" show about?
Bulling. Abuse. Humiliating. Ridicule. And brain washing. Just take a look at the show and see people, not Big Losers, but people. Are they people? Not at all.
For Hibbard, the low point came when she and her fellow “losers” were brought to a racetrack, where they were housed in individual horse stalls. When a bell went off, they had to run neck-and-neck like animals, picking up sacks filled with their lost weight on the way.
On show contestants were in pain. People in front of TV set had fan. They were watching. They watched and supported those they liked, they wished to them to be Biggest Losers.  Why participants stated on show? Why they did not walk away? Was it hope they will do it once, and finally will get the dream come true?  Maybe there were money they were paid. I do not know. They staid. They worked it out for themselves.
The show rakes in about $100 million annually in ad sales, with ancillary products such as cookbooks, DVDs, protein powder, clothing, video games and branded weight-loss camps bringing in tens of millions of dollars more per year.
say me, why do not try to bark out people to work out for 8 hours a day, to live on 1,000 calories a day, and to wrap own body in plastic shopping bag to increase sweating just to get famous, rich, and hope to get job one wished to have?  Now also say me, can any one of us, those who live outside the training ranch, to live this life style? No one. Big Losers including. And finally, is this 'healthy life style'? Not at all.
At one point, she collapsed. “I thought I was going to die,” she says. “I couldn’t take any more.”
Her trainer yelled, “Get up!,” then made a comment about a sick and overweight relative
The trainers, she says, took satisfaction in bringing their charges to physical and mental collapse. “They’d get a sick pleasure out of it,” she says. “They’d say, ‘It’s because you’re fat. Look at all the fat you have on you.’ And that was our fault, so this was our punishment.”
The same as in training camp to lose weight, in every medical clinic, in every hospital, every med pro  or anyone who meet us on the streets outside of our homes, every one bull us, because of we are fat. I do not want to go to any medical clinic, What for? To listen next shot of brutal abuse that I am diabetic because of my weight? No one ever will see that diabetes come first, and weight was after. I was born diabetic. I was not born 379 pounds. My mother was not so heavy in all her life. And my father was skinny man. He never got chance to get obesity. He died at age 37. At age 37 I was not obese. My body was in perfect shape. At that time at first time I was in coma. Today I am 379 Lb and 65 years old. I do have two legs, and two hands, both working not so good but acceptable. I am proud who I am. I am alive. I do live second life. I see my kids drown, and I very hope one day I will meet my grandchildren. My father never met his grandchildren I was 14 years old when he pass away.
“The key point is that you can be on TV, you can lose enormous amounts of weight, you can go on for six years, but you can’t get away from a basic biological reality,” Michael Schwartz, an obesity and diabetes researcher at the University of Washington, told the Times last year. “As long as you are below your initial weight, your body is going to try to get you back.”
Even most healthy people who participated in the program were injured.
In fact, contestants have been seriously injured, but it’s not often shown. The first-ever “Biggest Loser,” Ryan Benson, went from 330 pounds to 208 — but after the show, he said, he was so malnourished that he was urinating blood. “That’s a sign of kidney damage, if not failure,” Darby says. Benson later gained back all the weight and was disowned by the show.
Hibbard’s own health declined dramatically. “My hair was falling out,” she says. “My period stopped. I was only sleeping three hours a night.” Hibbard says that to this day, her period is irregular, her hair still falls out, and her knees “sound like Saran Wrap” every time she goes up and down stairs. “My thyroid, which I never had problems with, is now crap,” she says.
Say me, is this really good? Is this really Role Model for us? Well, not for me. I simple never would survive this program. But weight loss is one of the biggest brain washing propaganda against us, diabetics type 2.  It is all the time suggested that if we will lose weight our numbers will go down. True? False. Try to lose weight with  this program such as Big Losers. What would be next? Coma. No one diabetic will survive this program. In contrary, those who was not diabetic can develop diabetes as a result of this Big Loser. Why? It is stress. It is abuse, mental, emotional, and physical. Diabetic can be looks normal, but with this lifestyle diabetes will step up.
There are many fake publications and presentations what is diabetes and how to get rid of diabetes type 2. It is all fake, nothing true or related with reality. To get rid of diabetes our society must accept that people can be ill, sick, and there is no way to prevent. If this happened, our medical society must deal with this, and work out to get people back to health.  In anyy treatment the first step is all the time diagnose. With one out of ten diabetic in society why blood sugar still not vital? Why we do not have blood sugar check up for every one, in regular base, so there would not be surprise that diabetic transferred to ICU in coma. Why do not start to check up every one in clinic, in hospital, in school, and college, what is the level of sugar one has in blood. What is the A1c%? How many C Peptides in blood of every one of us?
Diabetes number 7 cause of death in US, and the test for diabetes never run in regular base. Blood sugar still not vital.
A1c level even for diabetics does not run, and there is no one answer why? A1c must be taken every time when blood work done. It is every one out of ten in America diabetic. Many diabetics are not diagnosed, why?
C Peptide level actually never run for diabetics. Needless to say, non diabetics do not have this test. And C Peptide level, which is normal run from "0" to "4". Say me, what does it all about? I am lost. I may hive "0" level of C Peptide, and still my pancreas is healthy and well working because of I am diabetic type 2? If it is diabetic type 1 then for then C Peptide level "a few". For us it is from "0" to "4" .
As diabetic type 2 we must take SU. SU force our ill pancreas to secret more insulin, regardless if our body needs it or not. So, when C Peptide level is taken there are "plenty" of C Peptides. One of the mark to determine Type 1 and type 2 diabetes. I wish to ask, why do not take blood sugar level in type 1 diabetic after insulin injection and find out, one is not diabetic at all? But why for type 2 diabetic this is all the time regular diagnostic tool to see if one need insulin or not?
Diabetes is one of the most often used to bull people with pounds. It is presented that we got our diabetes because of wrong life style. Take a look at the life style presented on the show Big Losers. Is this life one wish to live? I do not. I simple do not see why do I need this style of life. They were isolated even from families. They did not have life at all. All life was replaced by attempt to lose weight , and keep it off. As soon as they come back home many of them gain weight back. But if they are not. If they still keep it off, then for how long? If one lost over 100 pounds at age of 26, and now in age of 36 one has weight 236 pounds, they why I am blamed for being diabetic? I was not 236 or 326 pounds at at 26 or 36. But I was diabetic. With very high numbers.
What I try to say, let those Big Losers to keep off weight they lost for another 20 years. At that time one would be 66 as I am today. And let to compare me, diabetic type 2, with another diabetic type 2 Big Loser participant. Possible? Not at all. It is all the time tricks. They compare healthy with sick, young with old, different back ground such as Asian and Black who are different, just different as dear and moose. But 20 years after now next generation of our society would be healthier, and less diabetics cases would be diagnosed. Of cause if treatment for us start today, with insulin  in stead of Weight Loss Programs to Prevent Diabetes Type 2.
No obesity in future. But next generation will go up, will be taller. Just take a look at a little bit ahead rather then back.
