So, if this is really true then millions of Americans working in offices would be obese. It is not the case. Usually those Americans who have less education, less income, and do Blue Collar have higher obesity then those who are working in office. Right? Right. So, how studies were conducted that all the true turned up-side-down?
- Summary:
- Researchers have found new evidence to suggest that longer periods of sedentary time (defined as any sitting/reclining activity with low energy expenditure) are more strongly associated with the amount of fat deposited around internal organs.

The research team also scanned the participants using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to accurately measure the amount of fat in the liver, inner (visceral) and outer (subcutaneous) fat layers, and total abdominal fat.Really? Is this really fat they measured with MRI? Of cause not. They took size of tissue surrounding inner organ. There is no density of this substance, no any component of it, if it is fat, or water, or something else. It is just something around the inner organ. So, if diabetics type 2 has severe edema, water retention, or kidney failure then it would be very big substance surrounded inner organ. Still, it is not pure fat. It is water. If water find way to get out of body then fake fat will disappearing. If fat is not fake then it will stay on inside, around the inner organ. It is not the case with edema.
There are all the time suggestion to fight obesity, how? At first and most important way to reduce fat and obesity is water pills, diuretics. All diabetics type 2, people with CVD, kidney failure, and so on the first treatment they take is diuretics. Diuretics push away water, not fat. If there is fat around inner organs then there is no way fat will go away with diuretics. In reality every one who takes diuretics loose weight, why?
Even when accounting for age, ethnicity and physical activity levels, the study team found that the longer a person remained sedentary during the day, the higher the levels of liver fat, inner (visceral) fat and total abdominal fat.True? False. People who are ill, severely ill and stay in bed all the time does not gain weight as it suggested by studies. They stay in the same weight range, or even lose weight, regarding the medical condition they are in.And by the way, how it was found that people collect fat around inner organs?
The study, which was published in the journal, Obesity, took 124 participants at high risk of type 2 diabetes and measured the length of time they spent sedentary over a period of 7 days using accelerometers fitted to their waist. So, they took 124 healthy participants, provided them with TV set and high calorie diet, and then 7 days took MRI test. After that fake studies they tamped to the conclusion that ..., really the conclusion is about what?
Professor Melanie Davies, Director of the NIHR Leicester Biomedical Research Centre, UK, Professor of Diabetes Medicine at the University of Leicester and a co-author of the study, said: "Lack of physical activity and being overweight are two risk factors associated with type 2 diabetes. However, the effects of prolonged sedentary time and whether physical activity can play a mediating role by reducing fat deposits on internal organs remain unclear. This research starts to shed a light on any connections between the two by using MRI to measure the distribution of fat in an individual's body and analysing that in relation to their activity levels. The next step would be to examine the impact of regularly breaking up prolonged sedentary time upon internal fat levels."Nice try I would say. There is only one problem with this statement. If diabetes type 2 the type of diabetes when demand in insulin injections is higher then 200 units (compare with type 1 diabetes when demand is less then 100 units and very often they take less then 10 units of insulin daily), why it is diabetic type 2 to blame in the medical condition we had been born?
It is nice to take a look at MRI and see that it is fat around inner organs. How to find out if one has diabetes without taking blood sugar readings? Dogs can feel it. Bags can feel it. Our medical care has no one idea who to diagnose diabetes ether type of it, type 2 or type 1. They pretend 'it is usually diagnosed' and this is all diagnostic tools they are able to present.
I posted many times, do I have diabetes type 2 or not? My blood sugar random less then 200 mg/dl at any time. My fasting sugar usually around 70 mg/dl. I am obese person, around 400 Lbs in diameter. I am 65 years old. So, do I have diabetes type 2 or not? Good question. No any answer.
Today I do not feel good, as usual. I forgot to take insulin shot. Usually I take 160 units in the morning, then 160 second shot, and then 80+ regarding the level of sugar in blood before going to bed. Today I did not take any dose of insulin. Severe depression. If in the morning sugar was 64mg/dl then now it is 256 mg/dl, and it is only one shot I missed. So, am I diabetic or not? Usually MD said that I do not need insulin because of they took test and my sugar is pretty good. This is why many times, one time after another insulin supply was terminated. It cost $2000 for only one month, and I cannot afford it.
I really like to read studies like that. So many studies why we are diabetics type 2. Simple. We did it for ourselves. There is no need in MD and insulin. BTW, no one of them usually know how to Rx insulin, how to dose insulin injections. This is why to Rx Metformin is easily then insulin. No any responsibility, and no overdose. There still no studies, how to diagnose type of diabetes, type 2 or type 1? Without this scrap such as 'usually it is diagnosed in early childhood'.
My question is, if diabetes is epidemic then why level of sugar in blood still not vital? It is easy to take, just cost of one glucose. With this test as vital there would not be non diagnosed diabetics.
Another question is, if insulin work for any type of diabetes then why insulin is not first choice to treat diabetes type 2? In this case many of us never will go to the next stage of diabetes, type 2 when dose of insulin in injections higher then 200 units. I took 500 units recently. We really do not need Invokana and Metformin as first choice. Nether one of them ever took blood sugar under control. Insulin do the job.
Finally, if so many studies run by pro how to abuse diabetics why do not spend a little bit to reduce the price for insulin that we can take it from pharmacy and inject it on our own risk? Anyway, Med Pro did not reduce the number of diabetics type 2. Now the number of diabetics type 1 rising. All what I see so far that med pro does not wont to do the job, or have no one idea how to do it beside treading life style modifications. So, let us take our life in our hands. Probably in case like this we can slide down from mortality table where we are number 7 in line. It is only diabetes. But diabetics take first line in all other spots. Sad story without happy end.
