What is it? Echo Chamber? Highly washed brains? Just take a look at the comments. Every one sure that millions of diabetics type 2 eat too much sugar, and this is the problem. No one asked, why level of sugar in blood is not vital? There are "For the well over 400 million people with T2D globally,..."- according to publication. 400 million eat wrongly, and this is why we are all gravely ill. But, there are all the time 'but', why diabetics type 1 who diagnosed with the same medical condition, and the diagnostic is the same as for type 1 such for type 2, why these people live over 60 years after being diagnosed with diabetes? Probably problem is in diagnose and the treatment rather then in misbehaving of ill people?
Hba1c from 139 to 37 (uk) in 12 weeks, December 3rd 2015. Using Professor Roy Taylor's approach. Switched to LCHF and hba1c 32 coming up to 3rd anniversary of reversal. Total cholesterol up, hdl up a lot, ldl up a little, triglycerides down a lot. LFT normal range, CRP normal, lost 110lb (I wrote that in American for you).

Do anyone understand what Nurse Specialist talking about? At least, we have to be on same page. If author post to Americans he/she must know in America A1c cannot be 139. It is % and I never met any higher number then 20%. I am sure, 20% would be fatal.
Dr. comment:
There are 70 diabetes drugs on the market yet only diet "treats" it. Managing diabetes by forcing more glucose into cells that don't want it is crazy.
Interesting point. As do I know glucose cannot enter into cell if there is no insulin. So, how glucose forced to enter into cell?
There are not 70 drugs to treat diabetes on market. More then 70 different names only for Insulin, and there are oral medicine to be added. It is better to know if one is MD and pretend to post how to treat medical condition.
MD General Practice:
Do we give dogs sugar? Do we feed horses with sugar? It would poison them. Why do we give our children sugar?
Do dogs have diabetes? Yes, they do. Do horse have diabetes? Yes, they do. Do wild animals have diabetes? Yes, they do.Why? Wild animals do not eat sugar. Also they are very active. Otherwise they cannot survive. So, why wild animals developed diabetes?
Bear in mind the high blood sugar in Type 2 Diabetes is the result of there being too much sugar in the somatic cells already, causing them to retract their insulin receptors to protect themselves from getting even further over-filled. The current "therapeutic" approach forcing more sugar into the cells just to satisfy blood sugar level guidelines is wrong. We've been treating type 2 diabetes with diet, periods of fasting and exercise since the early 1980's. We have been able to discontinue insulin and even oral medications in the majority of those who adhered to the program.
Bingo!!!!!!!!! At first there was Insulin!!!!!!!!!!!! With insulin therapy it is possible temporary reduce level of sugar and also have normal life. The problem is, insulin is out of medical box for diabetics type 2.Start any treatment with Insulin, as it was back in 1980, and there would not be need in any oral medicine.
We know the diet can Reverse Type 2 Diabetes. Why are we acting so surprised? Good food in good proportions can do a lot of good things! ...plus self regulation at the table.
You are absolutely right. Good food is the solution. Also less working ours and more work out in fitness club. After 12 or 16 working hours it is difficult to walk to club, only to eat something and go to bed. This is how Americans Middle class work. Many do not have even regular check up because of there is no medical insurance. If back to 1980 there were prevalence of diabetes in Caucasians then now it is prevalence of diabetes type 2 in Native Americans, Black, Asian. More work, less good food, no medicine, wrong diagnoses and Junk Medicine leading cause of Death in America, 80,000 Americans die every your due to diabetes, 100% preventable deaths.
I like to distinguish between a "diet," which is temporarily choosing the pattern of what one eats or doesn't eat in order to treat some diagnosable condition until the markers and problematic symptoms have disappeared, versus a "nutritional regimen," which is an established, essentially permanent routine pattern of eating that keeps the markers and symptoms at bay once they're gone or, better yet, prevents them from ever occurring in the first place.
Good comment. As professor R.Taylor suggested diet as low as 400 calories can reverse diabetes type 2, then what after? Is it possible to be well being on 400 calories and work 12 hours a day, even 8 hours? As Professor R.Taylor said when he was asked if participants of hist study still diabetes type 2 free: "They still eating!" This means the remission is over, and welcome back to 300 calories a day.
Sugar is sugar and so long as there is room in the cell for it it’s processed. But when animal protein occupies this space sugar builds up in the blood and so does insulin. So sugar doesn’t cause these diseases. Environment is the other culprit. Being surrounded by a culture that has 80% of the supermarket flyer choked with junk, farmers making more junk and using junk to ripen it and fertile it we if not from disease will destroy ourselves with environmental sabotage.
There are easy solution for all your problem. Just do not go to supermarket and stop to buy anything what farmers push on. I think it is best way to wash your brain from all junk in it.
