Cimbolta. Is it good for me? December 3, 2018

I few weeks ago I started a new medicine, Cymbolta, 30 mg a day. I simple got it, sent to me by my mail pharmacy. So, I started to take it, and at first time I thought it was good for me. I was easy to walk, feel by body getting lighter.
Yesterday sugar was 169 mg/dl fasting. It is level of sugar I usually have after meal. A day before sugar was 159 mg/dl. It is also high. I tried to find excuse why do I have so high sugar. But Yesterday in addition to high sugar it was headache, and most important, severe back pain, low back pain. It is neuropathy I already do have, and I take medicine to fight it. Gabapentine works very well, I no longer do have this pain, but I take this medicine, and I took it without skipping in last weeks. Why pain returned?
I am not first day take medicine. This is why I take only one new medicine  at time. How it is possible to know if medicine work for me, or it is my enemy? I stopped Cymbolta right away. I usually do this. In some instance side effects go away after awhile  and then medicine works good. In other instance, regardless how long I take it, side effect will be too great to overcome benefits if they do. Very often there is no benefits, side effects only. Like Metformin for instance.
To see if I do have benefits of medicine or not I re-start this medicine soon after first try. If the same condition returned then this medicine is not right for me. It is all the time difficult with medicine. I cannot live without medicine. My medical box is full, and there are many different names of different medicine. At the same time I am very sensitive to any medicine or food, so I will feel it right away if I do have negative effect.
Thanks to Internet and widely open ed info, how I can check up, what this medicine was Rx for. It is antidepressant. I do have panic disorder, suffer from depression. I take for long time Citalopram, 10 mg. This is good for me, and I take it all the time. Now re0feel was canceled. Citalopram replaced by Cymbolta. Why? I do not have any negative effect from Citalopram. It works very well for many years.
I am not in acute state, I am chronically ill. This means that all medicine I take is maintenance medicine, not for cure.  If I do feel good it does not mean medicine I take must be de-prescribed. But it is not I who can Rx medicine or who decide what is good for me and what is not good for me. One after another medicine which works great de-prescribed, and replaced by those medicine which eventually will kill me. At the same time every doctor sure this is good for me. Why? Just why?
Citalopram is not expensive. Price is much better then price for Cymbolta. If so, then why Citalopram was replaced? No answer to this simple question. I cannot take Cymbolta, and I do not have Citalopram. Simple. Simple solution to any problems. Just add-on suffering, and patient will take the hook.
