Man who Invented Diabetes Treatment. Diabetes definition. December 22, 2018

There is all the time question, how type of diabetes diagnosed and from where this claim that diabetes type 2 is resulted by overeating come from? In other words, diabetics type 2 done diabetes for themselves. They can do treat themselves and be diabetes type 2 free. Also every one with strong mind and will power can get rid of diabetes type 2, and be diabetes-free, reverse diabetes type 2. Most important in all these claims what support them and where from they come?
In 1918 first book how to treat diabetes was published by Lea & Febiger Philadelphia and new York . Book named Diabetes Manual for the mutural use of Doctors and Patients by Dr. Elliot P. Joslin. Dr. Joslin discribed diabetes and what caused diabetes.
It is perfectly true that diabetes is a chronic disease, but, unlike rheumatism and cancer, it is painless; unlike tuberculosis, it is clean and not contagious, and in contrast it is susceptible to treatment, and the downward cause of a patient can usually be promptly checked.

I can be agree with Dr. Joslin, diabetes can be easy and fast checked and diagnosed. Why today, 100 years after that manual was published, millions of Americans not diagnosed with diabetes and not treated? It is easy to say, people do not want to have this diagnose in medical history, why? it will close too many door for diabetic. Try to find job if one with diabetes. Try to get health care insurance if one is diabetic. Diabetes is very expensive to treat. Only strips to check up level of sugar in blood cost $30 every month, only one reading. When sugar is high and treatment is aggressive to avoid low sugar we have to check up level of sugar up to 6 time daily. Every strip cost about $1. Do your math. Do not blame insurance companies they do not want diabetics have the medical coverage. At the same time there is no one policy to protect diabetics, to help us to find the job we can do and to get health insurance. Many of us simple do not have it.
I am agree with Dr. Joslin, diabetics are not contagious, nothing danger to contact with us and let us go to the street to be around other people. When Ebola hit American' soil medical industry worked day and night to find the cure. 100 years after insulin discovery there still no cure for diabetes, why? Because of there is no need in cure. It is very important to ask for donations and present that it is company which is working to find cure for diabetes 20, 30, 50 years, so they are good .... in collecting money. Why cure still not on the table? Really, who is in need to have that cure? Diabetics. If we do have this cure we use it. Not too many of us. Most diabetics 95% of all diabetic population take what they have: diet, starvation, fasting, and incentive work out. Nothing work. So, diabetics die.
In mortality tables by CDC Diabetes is number 7 cause of Death. It is 100 % preventable. But if there is no diabetics then what all medical industry will be treating? Do your math. How much every diabetic cost to society? Where all those money gone? Who benefit and who lost? 80,000 Americans die every year with diabetes as prime cause of Death.
I am agree with Dr. Joslin, diabetes can be treated.  It is easy to be checked up if treatment works or not. And effect of treatment is open and easy to control. So, why diabetes type 2 is progressive? Why all the time when we enter to medical office first question is, for how long we diagnosed with diabetes? Also I wish to ask, why every time when we enter into office of a new doctor for us it is first line of treatment for diabetes? Really when second line will start? Why second line needed if diabetes so easy to treat?
There is answer by Dr. Joslin: diabetes is painless. really? What is this about and how it is possible to say? Dr.Joslin's ante died because of diabetes. His mother died because of diabetes one year after he started to see and treat his first   diabetic's patient. His office was in his parents house. Why really hi did not treated his mother and she died? He cured many, and he reduced mortality of his patients by 20%, according to his statement. Why his mother died?   Is this really true she did not have any pain? Was her diabetes painless? Probably yes, I do not know. I do know how my diabetes hurt me, and believe me, it is far away from being painless. This is why in my medical box pain medicine and every day I take 1200 mg Gabapentine. Every day. If I stop this medicine soon I am not able to get up from bed. I am not able even take any move, even breath. Such acute pain. This is why diabetics fall on streets. Really, how he can say that?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To finish up with this definition say me, if it is easy to check up, how this can help me to control diabetes? Do not say, if I do know my numbers I can ... what really can I do?
