Definition of Diabetes. 1940. January 2, 2019

Diabetes mellitus is a heredity disease characterized by impairment of the body's normal ability to metabolize or utilize food. The metabolic defect manifested by increased amount of sugar in the blood and subsequently by the excretion of sugar into urine. The abnormality is largely depend upon an actual or relative deficiency of insulin resulting from a disturbance in the function of the islands of Langerhans of the pancreas or interference with the action of insulin in the tissue; it involves faulty storage of sugar in the liver, and possibly a diminished utilization of sugar by the tissue. Insulin not only promotes normal combustion of dextrose in the tissue, but exerts a control upon the metabolism of protein and fat.
It is definition of diabetes by medical research library Eli Lilly and company, which was first to manufacture Insulin in North America. Definition dated to 1940. What are difference with today understanding of diabetes mellitus? At first, it is heredity. Most diabetics were born in this way. My father was diabetic. I was born diabetic. Were my children born diabetics? Who know. No one ever tested them to be diabetics. So at time they will be tested positively they would be type 2 diabetic, meaning they do not need Insulin but Barking Therapy. But the same way as I do, they are got diabetes from me, their mother, and from my father, and his father. The roots go down no one know where.
Today diabetes type 2 defined that it is inability of body to proper use insulin. At the same time it also can be deficit in insulin secretion. So, why it is diabetes type 2 rather then simple Diabetes mellitus, as it was defined back to 1940? It is presented that diabetic's type 1 insulin secretion absent, so they relay on Insulin in injections. If so then there must be the same dose of insulin they all need to function. It is not the fact. Someone need 50 units, when other take only 12 units. It is easy to see that definition is far away from reality.  The matter of fact, no one know what is the normal level of insulin body system uses during the day. It is possible to check up the level of insulin in one moment. Still it is not all amount of insulin which body uses during the day with normal activity.
According to present day definition of diabetes type 1 there is no mention that there could be abnormal utilization of insulin or disturbance in insulin storage. There are only absence of insulin secretion for any reason. If so then why diabetic type 1 when treated in hospital with high dose of insulin does not take this high dose of Insulin after discharge from hospital? If there is no insulin secretion then the dos of insulin suppose to be the same with normal everyday activities.
About storage of insulin. It is well known that sugar stored in blood, in tissue, in bones, in liver. What about insulin? Does insulin stored somewhere? As we all very well know when we start to eat insulin released into blood stream to utilize the food. Where this insulin come from? Was it kept in storage? Was it just secreted? If the secretion of insulin just started with first bite we took then it is time that insulin secrets, and time for insulin to move into blood stream. But if insulin was stored then it is only time to open storage doors and let insulin go into blood stream, in amount it is needed at this moment. Then simple after food utilized doors are closed, and the renaming insulin still available for the next cycle.
Because of storage capacity possible can be abnormally small when diabetic type 2 start to eat diabetic became more hungry then before first bite was taken. In present time to solve this problem fast acting type of Insulin developed. This Insulin taken 5 min before first bite. Because of this type of insulin is fast acting and cannot be stored as it is long acting type of Insulin Lantus Solo Star,  it is difficult to use food properly. In contrary, when long acting insulin Lantus taken before the meal, Insulin used in right proportion to the needs of body system and the rest of Insulin keep stored for future use. Long acting Insulin can be used up to 20 hours after injection.
Lastly, what was not known in present time that it is not studies by other investigators.
It is said that diabetes among the Chinese and Japanese is not only infrequent but relatively mild. The food of those people is largely carbohydrate and their apparent relative freedom from diabetes suggest the possibility that a large amount of carbohydrate in the diet is the cause of the disease and perhaps may suitable in its management.
In present time Asian population is prone to diabetes. Why? There are many factors may effect why one become ill  or healthy in spite of all odds. Is this the point of discussion why one is ill or sick? No. This is only for academic studies. But for practice it is only to bring sick person to live as healthy as it is possible. This is the point of discussion. On this point as I do see diet is not the treatment and in no one way it is cure for diabetes. Insulin added in injections is the cure and the treatment for all diabetics of any type.
Unfortunately for us, there are no reliable  studies how to use Insulin, how to dose it, or what dose of Insulin MD must Rx for diabetics. Med Pro very Insulin Resistant. Really why? What they worry about? Do they worry they would lost their job if there are no millions of Diabetics?
