Even though fewer heart attacks are occurring in the U.S. -- in large part due to the use of medications like statins and a decline in smoking -- these events are steadily rising in very young adults. New data not only validate this trend but also reveal that more heart attacks are striking those under age 40, according to research being presented at the American College of Cardiology's 68th Annual Scientific Session.Of cause, better to prevent heart attack then treat it and survive heart attack. Why now it is younger population come victims of this very often fatal condition? Is that possible to prevent?

Really, why not it possible.
"It all comes back to prevention," Blankstein said. "Many people think that a heart attack is destined to happen, but the vast majority could be prevented with earlier detection of the disease and aggressive lifestyle changes and management of other risk factors. My best advice is to avoid tobacco, get regular exercise, eat a heart healthy diet, lose weight if you need to, manage your blood pressure and cholesterol, avoid diabetes if you can, and stay away from cocaine and marijuana because they're not necessarily good for your heart."We all do know that. This education program is the same to prevent or cure diabetes type 2, cancer, stroke, COPD, TB, and you name the rest. Any medical condition one able to add can be syccessfully prevented with
lose weight;
do not smoke;
work out regularly;
eat heart healthy (lung healthy, head healthy, brain healthy, leg healthy to prevent amputation, eyes healthy, ............. healthy diet)
control your vitals;
do not get intpo car eccidents;
do not be victim of any crime;
do not be ..... forever it can be said, simple do not be.
Just take a look at the any medical article, we can prevent any disease, and complications in life, any trauma, just do not smoke, work out .....; eat right.....; lose weight...... . Interesting, how many pounds I have to lose to prevent diabetes? MI? Stroke? and so so on. Simple, keep your weight under control and do not be ill or sick. Prevent it!!!!!!!!!!
Do not they get sick what they publish? Or they simple do not read it but moderate a little bit to change that diet must be heart healthy or lung healthy, or eyes healthy. If I do use this diet and go to fitness club, and do what they said me to do, would be I healthy? Can they guarantee that I be healthy and will not have next stroke or MI? No. There is no guarantee. What is guarantee that if stroke happened it is who blamed, I did not eat right or too wrong set of work out. Brilliant. They never lose, they are all time Right.
I live with 370 pounds. I cannot stop smoking, I never started, so this is the problem, there is no prevention for me. I do have diabetes controlled with 500 units of daily insulin dose. I am non Insulin Dependent diabetic type 2. As it is said, I do not need insulin. I am not agree. I think I do not need to die. So, I take as high dose of insulin as it takes to reduce A1c down to the healthy range. I take Excedrin to void severe headaches. Usually it is two tablets daily. When blood pressure is too high I take as much Excedrin as it takes to avoid stroke or MI. Sometimes it is more then 20 tablets a day.
I do not change my life style. Why I have to change it? I love Opera and Classic music so all season we are in Lincoln Center, almost every weekend. And in Summer we are in parks, in Adirondack. I love to read, to wright, and to color my coloring books. Why it is all the time taken for granted that if I am diabetic, or in hospital hardly able to breath, it is all my wrong life style? I am not immortal. I am human being. I got sick, I need medicine. I do not need barking education what I have to eat, I need medicine for heart right away. But it is not possible to get. All therapy usually we do have, just barking education how to prevent what really already present, already happened.
