Diabetes type 2 and obesity. February 11

Yesterday I posted that because of it is strongly believe that obesity leads to diabetes type 2, I took another believe, my believe, that it is diabetes type 2, type of diabetes diagnosed as not insulin dependent type of diabetes, and sometimes as non-sugary type of diabetes, and see that it id diabetes leads to obesity. Why not? Why someone can believe in Buddha, or Christ, or Earth Spirit, and every one free to believe in any God or be not believer at all, but I have to believe that because of I do have body 400 pounds it is why I am diabetic type 2. I simple do not believe in this.
So, my strong Believe that if I would be able to reduce level of sugar in my blood with right dose of insulin, I would become healthier, and so water will go out, swelling will dropped, and my weight will dropped. This is my believe. It is really difficult to find what is head, and where is tail, what is "A" and which is "B". In medical believe that it is Obesity which is Cause of Diabetes type 2. In my believe, it is Diabetes, no any type of it, but abnormal insulin secretion due one reason or another, is couse of high obesity in older age. It is Survival why diabetics collect pounds. Diabetics type 2 are those who survived childhood. But it does not mean we were not diabetics. We just survived.
The first look at the fact that there are many obese people who are not diabetics, who do have normal blood sugar level in spite of high fat on the body.
The second look, most if not all diabetics type 2 have obese or overweight body, and even if it is not obesity then it is abnormally wide middle area.
The third look, diabetics type 1 who has abnormal level of sugar in blood, usually do not have so high level of obesity as it is in case of diabetes type 2.
The forth look, with insulin injections the level of obesity drops together with level of blood sugar.
The fifth look, when one lost weight, it does not lead to the blood sugar drop and blood sugar control as it is widely presented by many medical pro such as ADA or Dr.Oz, or professor R.Taylor. It is true that starvation diet can reduce level of sugar in blood, but it is cut the life, as it is already studied and it is the fact. Remember Dr. Allen, the nickname was Dr. Starvation and Dr. Death. In 1936 Dr. Allen was evicted from half-empty Physiatric Institute where he did practiced to treat diabetics. He never was back on market. This chapter to treat diabetics with starvation diet was over till..... ADA published that diabetes type 2 can be cured with starvation diet. But there is no one institute anymore to put people to Starvation. No one patient Dr. Allen treated with Starvation, did survived. No one.
There are many other looks I can observe. I do not need to post them. I simple do not have the same believes as ADA and doctors try to push. So, I do my believe, and I prefer my own observation and logic.
In 2011 when I took first shot of insulin after 60 units dose of insulin started to drop. At the same time together with blood sugar level weight started to drop too. For my problem, insulin supply was stopped, and I cannot afford to pay for it. Blood sugar started to ride up and up. Then Insulin supply was restored, and sugar in blood started to get under control. Weight went down. Not for long. Insulin supply was terminated, sugar in blood went out of any control. It run over 599 mg/dl, it is limit of my glucose meter. I tried to get insulin in my local hospital. I got high and loud barking therapy treatment, but not Rx to insulin. weigh started to drop. I dropped from size 3X down to size 1X. Happily for me I got another portion of insulin, so I survived this calamities too. I hoped the problem was sloved, and not I would have insulin in dose I needed. Not so fast. Insulin supply was stopped. High water retention.
This story run long. Finally I got good doctor who is very brave and she Rx insulin and confirm every time I am insulin dependent diabetic type 2, and insulin supply come without interruption and any cut. My highest dose of insulin I injected was 400 units. Now it is dropped down to 300 units, and I hope it will go down. Still weight is going up and up. It went down in Summer, and I hoped I will recovery. Not so fast. In Fall sugar returned up, dose of insulin increased, and swelling increased. Today my arms and legs are so puffy as it was in previous Winter. Body weight returned to the same as it was one years ago.
For this season I did not have Flu shot. Also I did not have flu in this season. But I have many problems with heart. I have to take Nitrostat almost every day. It is very heavy short of breathing. I am almost not able to walk. I do not think it is weight to blame, but heart dysfunction. Anyway, the Nitrostat I do have, so it works, and I can take it at any time I need.
Another problem with my back pain. It is severe. I increased Gabapentine I take to reduce this pain. Looks like it works. Pain eased. Right now I am able to get out of bed without severe pain. For reference, the weight is still the same, so there is no one reason to blame weight in every pain we do have as usually doctors do.
As I see from my observations, the weight is important issue, but it is not the case that weight to blame for our medical problems. It is rather our medical problems which leads to the weight problems. It was all the time. In past it was underweight, not it is overweight, but the weight still in focus of any treatment. To fight weight is easy for medical pro, for any doctor. Just put finger to the patient's belly, and there is no one responsibility to put on the doctor. It is all patient's fault. Simple and brilliant.
For me it does not matter. I blame no one. I am not in power to blame any one. Also I do not accept when doctors blame me that I am diabetic type 2 because of my weight. I simple go out of office and do not come back. Right now I try very hard to take blood sugar under control. When one is diabetic, ether type of it, it is not so simple task. In healthy body it is system which take care for us and do the job. Because of I am diabetic I have to do it by myself. I cannot come even close to the understanding how my body system works. I try to keep my observations, put all in log book, but it is so difficult to see what is important and what is not. Still I try.
