Primary CareLooks so nice and neat. Do diabetics have high blood sugar level? Yes, we do have this feature. The same as every one with inflammation has elevated level of body temperature. Then why in one case it is 'cold' and in another case it is 'flu' or 'infection of the heart or lungs' or any other types of inflammation? Why in case of diabetes all is the same, level of sugar in blood. In case of infection the treatment is different the same as diagnose?

Classification of the types of Diabetes:
Diabetes mellitus is clinically and genetically heterogeneous group of disorders that have one common feature - abnormally high level of glucose in the blood either due to insulin deficiency or to impaired effectiveness of insulin's action.
Hundred years ago it was discovered that it is Pancreas which responsible for diabetes development. It is pancreas disorder why insulin secretion is insufficient. Today it is all but pancreas. There is even no one test developed to check up if pancreas healthy or not to secret insulin in sufficient amount. There are a lot of discussions how insulin acting. There is no test to check up if there is insulin in blood and that amount of insulin is sufficient.
I do have very good medical library now. All what is published regarding diabetes mellitus is only obesity and level of sugar. There is no one publications, how to test pancreas. No one of us ever tested for health of pancreas, or even its weight. Odd, I will say. There are millions of diabetics in America. Every one talking about cost of diabetes treatment. All testing and all diagnostic for diabetes based on the level of sugar in blood.
Let us take a look at the diagnostic suggested by ADA or WHO. Level of sugar in blood, what does it mean? It mean that if one do have normal level of sugar in blood then one control blood sugar and diabetes type 2 with proper diet and work out. If level sugar in blood elevated, or high, it means that one does not behave properly and need correction facility to be educated how to eat, to control diet.
In my file there is statement, I do have 'uncontrolled diabetes type 2'. Really, what is it? If I do control blood sugar level with insulin, 300 units daily dose, then .... insulin supply would be terminated because of I do not have diabetes and I should not take insulin.
If my blood sugar is above the normal level, it mean that I do not behave properly, do not eat right, eat too much sugar, carbs, and calories.
OK, still, let us take a look how many units of insulin is normal dose for adult diabetic? Simple question, no simple answer available. I do not ask about units in injections every one of us have to take. I ask, how many units it is sufficient to function for human being, any human being.Simple, take off human pancreas and let human live on insulin injections. This will show how many units human need to survive. Maybe it would surprise our medical care that human would need the same dose of insulin as I do, 300 units, 400 units, and all above.
In contrary, we have only a few units, such as 4 units of Novolog. Where this dose come from? How it was diagnosed that diabetic need 4 units of Novolog with what level of sugar? Two timec in hospital I was suggested they will give me 4 units of Novolog. One time my sugar was 400 mg/dl. Another time my sugar was 270 mg/dl. The question is, why the dose of insulin was the same? Why it is Novolog if I told I take long acting Lantus Solo Star?
The book above published by WHO, leading investigator of International Diabetes Treatment and development. In all book, there is no one guidance how to bring diabetic type 2 from A1c12.4% down to the 7%. Actually, there are no one guidance how to use insulin, how to Rx insulin, or how to diagnose the progress of treatment. They easy to educate medical care how to educate diabetics how to brash teeth, but .... no one education how to use insulin, how to Rx insulin, how to ... , you name it, there is no anything in publications by WHO or ADA.
