Sugar is 77 mg/dl. Fasting. Perfect sugar.
It is right leg. The picture taken Yesterday. It started itching, and I wish to know why it is so, and why it is in pain. It turned out, right leg go in the same direction as it is left leg. What does it mean? It mean that my hope the left leg would be healed failed. There is no healing. Wounds still in development, and circulation getting worse. It is all the time so easy to blame victim, we are bad eggs, we do not eat right, and this is why we do have diabetes type 2. We did it for ourselves. So easy. What I suggest, try to do not go to dentist when you do have teeth pain, and see what would be next.
The same about us, diabetics type 2. In the beginning we are just a little bit low in insulin secretion. With proper medicine, insulin, low dose, we will recovery and be just fine. In stead to Rx insulin our Medical Organization treat us with bulling and mocking. Also it is very nice if we take the hook and undergo weight loss surgery. Time go on. There is less insulin secretion. Finally time come, we enter into 'no turn' zone, and start to develop never healing wounds, High BP, and so so on. Someone of us will get a few units of insulin, usually Novolog. This dose of insulin, usually it is 4 units, does not effect high numbers, but it can reduce a little bit them for the short time so diabetic can be discharged from ED with 'improvement'. Simple and brilliant.
On this picture it is clear and visible that skin is wet. Withing short time it will be the same as it is left leg. Then they both would get black. Gangrene.
It is easy to say, just keep blood sugar under control, and all would be OK. It does not work in this way. My blood sugar is under good control. Better then most diabetics type 2 with duration diagnosed diabetes over 10 years. I was diagnosed back in 2002. Most diabetics type 2 who was diagnosed at that time already gone. I still alive. Looks like my time come closer.
My man put on bandage all over right leg. I done many bandages from my undersized t-shirts. I do not have wound care supply. No do I have walker to walk, or shooter to go out. Out Old Wives love to put on how expensive we are for American Society. The matter of fact, I am not. I do have no SSI, not too much any attention or public assistance. Right now my man work and company pay my medical bills, so I do have Insulin and I do have another medicine I need. I still pay co-payments, but it is less then any regular payment.
It is walker I very wish I do have. With this medical device I can take a short walk, so I do have place to seat at any moment I do need. The cost is $244. It looks good walker, light to put in car, easy to move, and wide to take a seat. Also it is good for 400 Lbs.
I need wound care supply. It is not so expensive if one need it just to put in car for emergency use. It is not emergency for me. It is life style. I have to change bandage every day, two legs, twice a day. Even with price $7 for 6 rolls it still huge money for me to use this supply, so I simple cut off my old t-shirts. Do I afraid infections? Yes, I do. Do I have another choice? Show me, if I do. I simple do not see it.
It is $ 18.95 for 24 rolls. One roll for one dressing. Plus one roll of those which is above. I need to wrap two legs.
I am not going to post how much I do pay out of my pocket every month. It is not really important. The important point is, we are ill people, and we deserve to be treated with respect and humanity. We do have nether. We looks very bad in public eyes. We are fatty. Why? Because of we cannot stop to eat. Really? No one eating problem will lead to gain weight up to 10 pounds in short time. Edema lead to this development. No one eating problem lead to gangrene. Edema is the one to blame for our amputations. It is poor circulation, Deep Vein Thrombosis. This condition hit regardless of one is fat or fit or skinny. It does not mater. The result is also the same, regardless we are fat or not fat. When it is left untreated it is life threatening condition. Does anyone try to go to ER in this condition? Just try it. I was in hospital in March. Now it is May. Still not too much progress.
BTW, does someone have unneeded t-shirts? You can donate them to us, diabetics type 2. At least we will be cheaper for our society. In stead to wrap our wounds in sterile bandage we can be dressed in bandages of old t-shirts.
