Sugar is 105 mg/dl.
Early in the morning I woke up with feeling of low sugar. I did not have energy to take reading, took two apples in stead because of it was handy and only after that took readings. It was 105 mg/dl.
Last night I was not able to sleep all night, so I went to bed early. My legs were wrapped, and I was OK. Then about 12 am pain, so severe, not bearable. The sking foleded and it was like water sack very painful. I had no choice but take it off. After that I fall asleep and woke up only in the morning. My man wrapped both legs for day time that I still work on water retention. It is OK by now.
It is really very interesting. Usually it is told that I have to hold my legs elevated. It reduce swelling, and it keep better circulation of blood. I tried many times, and it never worked for me. Usually I get more heart complications, so I have to use more medicine to deal with heart, Nitrostat particularly. I am very ill person, so I feel how any treatment work in right or wrong way faster then any one else. So, I just never use this way to reduce edema. I do prefer to keep my body flat, and my head elevated.
Now I started to wrap my legs. I can walk with wraps all day long. Last Saturday my man wrapped them and we went to Lincoln Center. The wrap was put on very tight. I was OK and no pain all eve long. But then we come home, and I went to the bed. I could not sleep. Pain, very severe pain. I had to take off both wraps.
Now it is interesting, why when I am wake up there is no pain in legs when they are both wrapped on? But regardless how long after wrap I went to sleep I have to take wraps off, because of severe pain. Really interesting. When I sit legs are down. When I sleep, body is flat. When legs are elevated I cannot sleep and it is not only pain in legs but heart pain.
I do not pretend to give any advises to any one. I do not pretend to be better then our Medical industry. MD can be good or bad, low educated and not really smart, the same as every one of us. They do not have immunity to be highest level of smartness. Also we all different, and what is good to one is really not good to someone else. And lastly, there are so many studies, but in all studies there is not too much attention to the result of long term treatment effect. At least I did not read too much about it. I would say, the best studies can be done if every doctor has file how patient doing. There are no doctors or files like that yet. So, to study it is really difficult. Any official studies shoe results one who paid for study wish to have. Money buy all.
To relay on forum is also too complicated. I have no one idea why, but people pretend to post in the area they have no one clue about, but wish to educate others. This is why I do not participate in any forums. I do not want to have e-mails with abuse and name calling.
It is really shame how we all treat each other.
