| "ADVOCATE EVERYWHERE," are the words printed on the front of one of my favorite T-shirts, obtained years ago (maybe 2013 or 2014,) from the Diabetes MasterLab, which at that time, piggybacked CWDFFL, in Florida. And they are words that continue to inspire me in my life... and my life with diabetes. I wear this shirt because I love the message and the spirit behind it. I love how this message sparks conversations whenever and wherever I wear it. Lastly, I love how it encourages us to use our voices individually and collectively, because all our voices matter and no act of advocacy is too small. #AdvocateEverywhere ~ |
