Sugar is high today. It is 199 mg/dl. I missed shot in the morning, and woke up too late. So, sugar is high. One shot missed, and sugar is out of control. So easy, so simple. I am diabetic type 2. I still alive and sound. But I injected 160 units as soon as I took readings. Now say me, if diabetic type 2 take 12 units of insulin and them misses one shot, is diabetic can die? LOLOLOL! But they all like to say, how it is danger for them to be diabetics.
Also I wish to say, how it is looks like that their immune system destroy Beta Cells? If it is true then with time higher and higher dose of insulin would be needed, right? Not for diabetics type 1. Ask them what dose of insulin they took when they were diagnosed with diabetes, and what dose of insulin they take 10 years after they started insulin injections. Dose of insulin dropped for every one of them. So, they do not have progressed diabetes but regressive type of diabetes.
It is different with diabetes type 2. I am not scientist. I cannot answer why? But the matter of fact, to keep blood sugar under control I have to take higher dose of insulin compare with dose I needed at the time of diagnose. In 2011 60 units were good for me. Now I inject more between 400 and 500 units. Huge progress I would say.
Why it is so? What make diabetes to go to such progress? In my case it was constant drop in insulin delivery. Every time when delivery was stopped dose of insulin went up and up. I may only conclude that insulin injections should not be stopped without very sure diagnose that diabetic's pancreas healthy and ready to work without support by insulin.
Diabetic pancreas may be checked if it is healthy or not. There are many way to check it up, X-Ray and Cat- Scan just a few to mention. Pancreas never diagnosed with any problem diabetics type 2 do have, why? It was established that pancreas of diabetic is different then it is in healthy person. So, why till present days diagnose of diabetes based only on the level of sugar in blood?
It is well known that diabetics do have problems with fertility. The same men and women alike. Many women undergo surgery soon after they passed 40th birthday. Different types of tumor is common for these surgeries. Pancreas the same as ovarian can be under fibrosis. Polyps are common in diabetic's body. Cysts are one of common cause for ovarian or womb surgery.
In spite of many odds it is only diet that under close attention of medical providers. No one see any other problems if one does have diabetes. With time our body getting wider and wider. Probably, it is too much attention to the middle area our medical complex and media pay. The completely forgot about other problems that can lead to diabetes and obesity.
