Classification of Diabetes. Insulin Resistance. 1985. January 9, 20019

Comparison of type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Similarities and Dissimilarities in Etiology, Pathogenes, and Complications.
Edited by Mladen Vranic, Charles H. Hollenberg, and George Stiener.
Plenum Press. New York and London. 1985.

The simplest way to produce resistance to insulin-stimulatd glucose intake is to destroy Beta Cells function in an experimental  animal. Since it is quite clear that insulin treatment restores insulin actions to normal, it is tempting to speculate that insulin deficiency, per se, is the cause of insulin resistance in diabetes. (Page 133.)
Well, what is "insulin resistance"? If it is easy to find out that insulin deficiency in animals whose beta cells were destroyed then why it is type 2 diabetics, not type 1 diabetics who are Insulin Resistant? In any way it is more obvious that Type 1 diabetics are insulin resistant because the same as in experimental animals their insulin secretion is absent.
Of cause, it is not so simple, and in book there are many other points to show 'that' and 'this'. The most important point is, there is no any device or any testing tools to find out resistance to insulin. The matter of fact, there are even not know the level of insulin in any time, or the normal level of insulin with daily activity or with other activities. This is why, regardless of every one talking about resistance to insulin, and millions of Americans diagnosed as Insulin Resistant type of diabetes type 2, there is no one evidence that resistance to insulin really exist.
Really, it is best to read professional Medical books to know why and how we are treated. Since my diagnose with type 2 diabetes insulin resistance I tried to find out why diagnose is type 2? Are diagnose is right? And I tried to find answers to my questions. The matter of fact there are no answered. Doctors get confused right away, and answer to any questions what I have to eat today, but never why I am diagnosed as type 2 diabetic.
My first endocrinologist  who diagnosed me with type 2 diabetes all the time told me, I have to lose weight. I thought, if I will lose weight I would be diabetes-free. So, I did. I lost 60 pounds in 2009, hold this weight till 2010. Then I got stroke and heart attack, hardly survived, and pound all returned with plus. At that time I did not have my library. I did trust in doctor. Big mistake.
I was not obese before diabetes was diagnosed. Still I all the time had high sugar level in my blood, infections on my legs, and severe headache. High blood pressure, brown spots on my skin,  rash on body. I never was hungry, but had often must to go. A few times there were blackouts, but it passed very fast, so I did not pay too much attention to this condition.
First stroke I had when I just passed 40. I survived. I even did not know it was stroke. I am not educated in medical field. I had problem with pregnancy, and non cancelous tumors were removed a few times. I was constantly sick, weak, and I try to cover it that I am not ill [person. I needed job, and I had to take medical exam every year. I used to be electrician engineer. If BP would be detected I would lost my job.
Now I am no longer work. Also I do not trust in doctors. As it was told, diabetic who knows most live longest. All what I try to do right now, just survive. Because of I need to be educated, I try to share my experience and info I found with others. The same as now I post my adventures, and there are many visitors on my blog. I am proud of my blogging. I am proud who I am, with all my 400 pounds. I do not shame of my body. And I do not try any diet or Grave Therapy which is widely recommended. I simple live my life and try to get as much of it as I can.
