I do not remember who said it: if you go through the Hell, just keep going. Looks like it is right advice for me. Just try to keep going no matter what. Yesterday we went to NY Phill. At first time I started to think, I have to change my seat. Also I am not sure for how long I would be able to come to Lincoln Center even in motor wheelchair. When I took my seat I needed medicine for my heart. I took 4 tablets Nitrostat at once, and two Excedrin to deal with headache. It took time to let breathing to slow down.
The concert was very good.

All three were just brilliant and performance was perfect as usual. The Standing Ovations. We are not first time or first season in Lincoln Center. The patrons are different now. The faces are different, all races and cultures are present. And reaction of patrons on music is different now. 10 years ago there were no applauds after first peace of concert, only when finally. Also applauds were not so active and enthusiastic. Very often I just wandered, why it is so cold? Now every time it is ovation. People stand and thank musicians.
It is European Standard to play 'on bias'. Not in America. Does not matter how enthusiastic patrons, NY Phill musicians never played 'on bias'. Is this Good? Is this bad? I do not know. It is as it is. There are many people who involved in concert to run smooth and safe for public. For them every concert is job. When musicians play extra time, all those people work extra time. No one of them happy with that. This is why I do think that American Standard is better. We live in another word then 100 years ago. At that time there were no need in security. Today we need to be protected.
After concert I try to get out as soon as I can to be first before all house will be in hall and plaza. It is very difficult to ride among people. They never pay any attention what is going around, and easy to jump right under my wheels. The result of this need, I have to rush to elevator. And even in wheelchair I have difficulty to smooth my breathing, to slow it. Why it is so? Probably my heart is getting worse. I went to a few cardiologists. No difference between any of them. They are all just Collector. Last one I think was drug addict. At first he said that I have to rush to hospital that my heart clap blocked by calcium. Then he said, there is nothing wrong with my heart and I do have all medicine I need. Yes, also he wished I go to take test in hospital. I said I will not take it. Test does not shoe if there are clot or not. Of cause I need doctor who will care for my heart. Where to find one? Usually doctor care for money, and never for heart. I call them Collectors.
