Diabetes type 2, Obecity, and solution for epidemic of both.

STOCKHOLM -- Clinicians here reported that a 3 1/2-year-old morbidly obese girl was diagnosed with an adult disease -- type 2 diabetes, but with treatment and lifestyle changes the child was able to be weaned off medication.

As usual, how diagnose was done? What treatment little one was given? And now, what does it mean, little one off medicine, dose she diabetes-free? Good question, how MD was able to find out that little one does diabetes-free now?

About Type 2 Diabetes

Type 2 diabetes (diabetes mellitus) is a metabolic disease that causes sugar to collect in the blood stream. The severity of diabetes can vary quite a bit: Some people only have to make minor changes to their lifestyle after they are diagnosed. Just losing a little weight and getting some more exercise may be enough for them to manage their diabetes.
Other people who have type 2 diabetes need more permanent therapy that involves taking tablets or insulin. It is then especially important to have a good understanding of the disease and know what they can do to stay healthy.
There are two main types of diabetes. Type 1 diabetes usually develops in childhood or at a young age. Type 1 diabetes is a result of a damaged pancreas that leaves the organ producing either very little insulin or none at all.
Type 2 diabetes is quite different. It used to be referred to as "adult-onset" diabetes because it is often diagnosed later in life. In type 2 diabetes, it becomes increasingly difficult for the body's cells to absorb and use the insulin. Type 2 diabetes is much more common than type 1 diabetes. About 90 % of people who have diabetes have type 2 diabetes..

Let us be a little bit clear, really, hos diagnose of type of diabetes done in any case of diabetes diagnose? Just how type of diabetes diagnosed? How effect of treatment can be checked in? How it is was diagnosed that diabetes type 2 reversed? No one clear answer to no one of these or many other questions. Simple, if one is obese, or adult then one diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, regardless of any other problems diabetic has. Diabetes type 2 treated with Life Style Modifications, diet (starvation) and work outs ( pretty danger for diabetics because of it demand more insulin and so the already limited secretion of insulin deplete faster), and Metformin, very danger medicine which works to destroy healthy well working organ such as liver and muscles.
What I said is, if diagnose of type of diabetes is so important then why this diagnose so freely done? Every one of us diagnosed with type of diabetes without any additional tests, only bathroom scale and level of sugar in blood. The same tools for diagnostic for any type of diabetes. So, type of diabetes come from where? It is MD choice. Just head/tail cone toss. After this toss diagnose done, treatment Rx, insulin to those who is top of society, and life style changes for low level of society.
It is said that type 1 diabetes resulted by damage of pancreas. well, if my pancreas damaged or not? Way this test was not run for every one of us before we stamped with type of abuse?
But poster discussion session moderator, Tiinamaija Tuomi, MD, PhD, director of diabetology at Helsinki University Hospital, challenged the diagnosis of type 2 diabetes, saying, "There was no genetic testing that was done on this child so the diabetes might not have been type 2 but rather a genetically-caused form of diabetes. I think to be certain these genetic tests should have been performed."
More important there were no other tests, such as C peptide level. This test will shoe if body still secret insulin. But,.... the normal level of C peptide is from "0" to "5". So, what if there is C Peptide level is "0"? Diabetics type 1 still produce insulin and C Peptide level usually "a few".  I am type 2 diabetic. My C Peptide level was "4". So, is this level "normal" or is this level "a few"?
Also when it is presented that type 1 diabetic's pancreas damaged then it  damage was tested somehow, right? How? No, for any diagnose of diabetes type 2 there is only level of sugar in blood and number pounds on bathroom scale.
Yafi said that in the environment where he works in southern Texas, type 2 diabetes is endemic, and the child responded to treatments aimed at correcting type 2 disease. He also contended that genetic testing was an added expense that may not have been needed in this case or in his population without other factors being apparent.
Expense vs life. Really, who needs this little girl form Texas? Not America. There are open doors for every one. So, healthy immigrants will flood the country, and our unhealthy kids or adult must be replaced. It is survival. It is Natural Selection. We are weak, we must free society from our presence. Best way to deal with any epidemic. Do not mind it is only diabetics. It is policy. It is Public Opinion.
"The most important factors in type 2 diabetes are obesity and lifestyle. We think this girl responded well because her condition was detected early and was treated early. When you implement major lifestyle changes then you have a higher rate of success," he said.
True? Not true. Diabetics type 1 regardless in what age they were diagnosed they start to take insulin, and live long, 60 years and more. Diabetics type 2 live less then 10 years after being diagnosed with diabetes type 2. In children this span even shorter. It is fact, not fiction such as mythical type 2 diabetes.
The Hispanic child presented at the pediatric endocrinology clinic with symptoms of excessive urination and thirst -- clinical descriptors of people with diabetes. "However her past medical history was unremarkable," Yafi said. "She was born full term with a weight of 3.2 kg. Although both parents were obese, there was no history of diabetes."
Of cause it is most important what number on bathroom scale of her mother. What is not important as I see, the number on glucose meter girl was presented in clinic or hospital.  This number is high, very high. If it is just a little bit above normal then there is no excessive thirst and urination. She was above 400 mg/dl. If so then there is no way she got diabetes free after 6 month on Metformin. Really, what treatment girl had in hospital? I am sure it was Insulin. Usually MD never presented that initial treatment was insulin. Then firl got better, well recponded to treatment, and finally was out of any medicaltion.
If so then this is my theory. Why do not let newborn, every newborn vaccination with insulin right in Birth-house? Probably it would solve mistery of diabetes type 2 development and epidemic?
Sorry, it would be very unhappy end for MD and millions of Medical Pro. Just think about it, no diabetics, nether type 1 ether type 2, no one type. Do they ready for this opportunity? I do not think so. With all energy they are ready to educate us how to hold the spoon and Modify our lives. They do not want to modify personal life.
